Saugerties / Woodstock KOA

Enjoyed our stay, in fact added on a Forth night. The owners are friendly and helpful. Nice ambience with wooded site- so sunshine with shade too. Good Laundry and bathhouses- both clean and tidy, just need more water pressure and hot water, but the park had just opened so maybe just new season issues. Great store and very good wifi. Great location to see the Catskills and the Hudson River. So much to do in this region. Highly recommend.

Great local KOA, passing through Saugerties, Great facilities and very welcoming staff upon entry. Just stopped for the night to wait out the rain storm. Very peaceful night listening to the rain, we'll be back this summer for sure.

Reviews i read prior to reserving here said the sites were "heavily wooded" and very private, which is completely untrue. We asked for a further out spot when we reserved but got stuck in a tiny site with neighbors on every side. It was remarkably quiet all things considered until our third night when screaming young children appeared next door right on top of us. We stood it until today when we asked to be moved. The campground people were pretty nice about it and we re-located to a much nicer spot. Now we'll see what happens this weekend.

Packed with a variety of family amenities (pool, game room, outdoor activities like a bounce house, minigolf, and flashlight candy hunt), reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great getaway to the outdoors without the unpredictability of a more remote campsite. Some noise issues with the nearby fire station and occasionally your camping neighbors though.
