Nice place for dessert. The service is very good and the atmosphere is incredible.nWhat I tried was not what I expected. I asked for Nutstalgia, which doesn't taste hazelnuts, just coffee and caramel, and it is too sweet. Actually, I never drank a hazelnut latte, but I imagined something else. The cone is delicious. We asked for extra, and it came hot, recently made.nI do not recommend this desert, but it has so many options, so I'll come back to try others.

I recently visited this Demetres location on Bloor after not having the best experience at the Courtneypark location, and had a mixed experience. While the desserts themselves were delicious and much more enjoyable this time, the overall visit was marred by some notable issues. The staff, though well-meaning, seemed quite stressed and new to their roles, which led to delays in getting our order. It was clear that the place was busy and predominantly staffed by newcomers, which might explain the slow service.nnThe summer items, though being told was the last day for them, were not available to order. We were originally told only the blueberry cheesecake ice cream was out, but quickly learned that the summer program was over completely hence there was a miscommunication in terms of relaying the right information to the customers, between the front staff and the waiters.nnHowever, the biggest concern was the lack of hygiene practices. I noticed that no gloves were being used when handling food, and staff members were frequently touching different surfaces and then handling desserts with the same unwashed hands. This lapse in cleanliness was quite unsettling and detracted from the otherwise enjoyable dessert experience. The fact that the couple sitting beside us also mentioned it as an issue confirmed that we weren't the only ones disgusted by this act. We noticed that the same cutlery that had touched the garbage after discarding of crepes that were not made properly were being used to make the other orders.nnIf you're planning to visit, be prepared for a bit of a wait and keep an eye on hygiene practices. While the treats are tempting, I hope the management addresses these issues soon to improve the overall experience. I liked the strawberry milkshake but found the cheesecake to lack some sauce. The honey vanilla ice cream complimented the chocolate cake well.

I love that this location is open until midnight. The staff accommodated my s/o and I, when we asked if we could switch tables after we were seated. Even with Friday being one of their busiest nights, they agreed to let us sit in the back. We got the Katy Berry and the Pomme Pilot Belgian Waffle. The waffle was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous so you can share when out on a date Next time, we will share a waffle! Thanks Sienna for being so attentive, and our server was absolutely lovely. You ladies made our night. The service was absolutely spectacular! Super quick and friendly. However, their menu seems to be very limited and they seem to have a lack of ice cream flavours. I’d say for the pricing, their menu should have a larger variety of items. Super nice place.

Super tasty and pretty big portions to match the bigger price. But worthwhile for the more complex dishes.nnService was very slow to get our order but fast to deliver.nnLooks nice, with comfy seats.
