I've dined at this restaurant several times over the many years I have lived in Kitchener and I have always enjoyed my experience. Staff have always been friendly and attentive, with a great atmosphere, and of course very good food. A highlight is always the freshly baked bread baked in flower pots with the cinnamon and herb butter two separate butters, not mixed!. Even though it's just bread, it's amazing bread and sets the tone for an enjoyable meal to come. The kids always love that part. The rest of the food has consistently been very good too. Definitely recommended.
Great restaurant. Went on a Thursday night date night with my wife while kids were at Grandma's. They give you all you can eat bread and butter that is super delicious we should have taken this in to account before ordering a appetizer. For the appetizer we had the Spin Dip and crispy pitas. The Spin Dip was one of the best I have ever had. Then we had a rustic tomato pizza great crust nice pesto sauce and fresh mozzarella it was a solid pizza. Have been here many times and will definitely be back. Oh and if you are here during patio season definitely give it a try nice and cute .
This immediately became the new monthly date night spot for my fiancée and I. The food is absolutely fantastic from apps all the way to desserts. The Tuscan Tenderloin was the best piece of beef I've ever had and it was cooked perfectly. Amazing food at a very fair price considering the exceptionally high quality you receive. I would highly recommend Del's.
My family and I dined here for dinner on Wednesday. Let me start by saying, wow! The food was amazing, the service was fast, we had a really pleasant experience. The presentation of the bread was very unique, as it served in the flower pot. It’s accompanied by some delicious cinnamon and garlic pesto butter. You think that’s a weird flavour right? Well think again, because it’s ridiculously tasty. The chicken Parm was top-notch, I would recommend substituting penne in place of the spaghetti. I would highly recommend this spot for casual dining, a business meeting, or date night. It’s definitely worth a visit
My wife and I had dinner there last night. The service was good and the restaurant ambiance was very nice! They served us with just baked bread, with cinnemon and garlic butter was very good! Also their Brocheta was very tasty. I ordered a Chicken Parmesian which was just okay and if some more spice or tomato sauce was added, I am sure would have tasted way better! Vegetarian options: They have a good vegetarian and Vegan options! Parking: There is a covered parking!
If you are in Kitchener, you can NOT not go to this little gem of a restaurant. Authentic Italian. Delicious favours that do not overwhelm your palate, each herb, spice, flavour stands out on its own. Ordered the fungi crostini - a melt in the mouth topping of fresh herbs, mushrooms, balsamic and sauces on a light-as-air toasted focaccia. Was also served house bread in a pot, with whipped garlic butter and cinnamon butter. To add to it all, excellent service. Delightful staff.
BRING BACK THE MAKE YOUR OWN PASTA MENU!! There, that’s my “feedback” if that even can count as feedback! I was disappointed to see that they got rid of this, especially since I have dietary restrictions. Overall, probably my favourite restaurant in Kitchener-Waterloo. Del’s never disappoints, between their service and the quality of the food, I am always so happy when I come for dinner. It was great to see everyone back after so long. We haven’t been back in so long since COVID, but their staff did a great job distancing everyone and accommodating to the government rules. Oh! Don’t forget to sign up for their points card, too! You can use it at other locations under the brand to get some money back later down the road. See you again soon!
Went there on Valentine's Day! They accommodated us with no reservations. The food options were good. We tried the Spinach and Artichoke dip along with the Cannelloni. They were tasty. For the desserts we ordered a Creme Brulee and a Chocolate Mousse with Raspberry jelly. Both the deserts were not up to the mark, the mousse was bad - seemed it separated and was not frozen at all. The Creme Brulee top layer was not crackling at all. It seemed the deserts were done in a hurry. They were out of Tiramisus at 7.00 on Valentine's day! Sad!! I'd go there again for the food, but avoid deserts. A shout-out to the bar staff who were great servers and made the best non alcoholic Moscow Mules we've drunk till date!
Great atmosphere. Amazing staff. Awesome food. This is a must stop, if you're in the area. We all loved our appetizer, drinks and meals.
The vibe is great.. Good for small groups as well as family friendly.. Staff are very accomodating.. Complimentary bread served with pistacchio butter is one of the best items.. Plant based menu also available! Ambience: 4.5/5 Staff: 5/5 Budget: 4/5 Food taste vegetarian and non-vegetarian: 5/5 Food quantity: 5/5 Overall one of the best restaurants in KWC area..
