I went here for the first time. We ordered a chicken pesto Pizza, red velvet cheesecake, veggie burger and a cookie skillet. The food and service was amazing. I can say it was one of the best pizza i have ever had. Desserts were super amazing too! we did have an issue with one of our food item but the staff was understanding and handled it in a really good way. they resolved the issue in the end. I would definitely come back to this place when i am in Kitchener!
We ordered take-out during the lockdown. We ordered a strawberry milkshake, "Hidden Gem" crepe and "For the Love of Ferrero" chocolate chip cookie. The milkshake was good, but the crepe and cookie were too sweet and did not have much flavour. The ice cream served with cookie and crepe was very icy and had no vanilla flavour. The quality and quantity were low for the cost of food. Overall, I was very disappointed, but I understand that these items may be better enjoyed in the restaurant.
The heaven for sweet lovers. Who can say no to chocolate?? The ambiance and the food serve both are top notch. Please just don't go on pictures do try it ! It might look overwhelming but it's so much yummy and light loved it so much. Can't wait to find more reasons to celebrate there. It's so clean, staff are friendly and very welcoming. I am so happy we have D spot in Waterloo. It's makes Waterloo extra special. The ice creams are must try ! Infact everything is amazing but do try their ice cream for sure. Will definitely visit every month
The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly, clean store and lots of variety. Be prepared to spend, it is not for the faint of wallet but as an occasional treat well worth the money. Be prepared for a wait to be seated and for the food as well. Pleasant surroundings make the wait not unduly harsh but it always seems busy.
Nice atmosphere and decor. Pretty busy place with a huge menu. Plates look very nice. My order was not special, made with a lot of ready-made ingredients. Crepe was not warm even after I asked them to remake it since my order was sent to another table first, ice cream tasted like store-bought, brownie was good but likely from a ready-mix. My biggest pet peeve is the price. It definitely overpriced for what the quality, but in fairness in-line with other overpriced cafes like Williams. Update: went back and ordered a waffle dish. The waffle is definitely better than the crepe. However, same complain: seems like most of the ingredients are store bought. The brownie and the lava cake are very grainy. Marshmallows are added without getting toasted so they taste bland. Presentation, size and atmosphere are great; prices are high.
I'm not gonna lie, this is a pretty good dessert place. So many options to choose from which makes it a bit difficult because everything looks so good. The food was great and the prices aren't bad either. I have nothing to complain about.
Wow, what a menu! So many amazing choices. It's beautifully decorated with comfy seating as well. It is a bit pricey. $2 for my daughter to get sprinkles on her ice cream... But delicious and we can't wait to go back.
I've been to both the Kitchener location and the Guelph location and both offered excellent service. Wait times are very reasonable even during busier times. The prices are very reasonable for portion size, with even the larger meals never exceeding the 21$ mark. Cheaper options range around 15$-18$. The food itself is very good and they have a diverse menu for any occasion. Savory options are also available though desserts compose the larger part of the menu. The Guelph location does have a smaller menu as they are a smaller location, but they maintain the same level of quality. I would recommend anyone in the area to stop by at least once. For reference this is a photo of the "Warm and Loving" funnel cake at the guelph location.
D spot is really a great place to have a delicious dinner and amazing dessert. We got strawberry pancakes and steak and cheese pizza. Also, our server was so friendly and amazing person.
I visited at about 6PM on a Saturday. It's a cool spot with a great variety of dessert options, although some items are quite pricey. It's also a great place to meet up with family very kid friendly/ friends. Our servers were courteous, friendly, and checked up on us frequently. It was a nice place overall and the decor was quite charming.
