Bello Mio Resto-Lounge

Honestly the best Zucchini Alfredo w chicken I’ve ever had. The portion was huge but that didn’t stop me from eating it all. It was heavenly. So thrilled they have Zucchini as an option instead of pasta. Very clean inside. I sat on their nice patio. They have very friendly staff and owners. I’ll be back again!

We had a date night and our dinner at Bello Mio was so welcoming by Melissa. She was super kind and gives you the best suggestion from the menu. The flavours in the food were so fresh and authentic. They customize it as you like it. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes esp. ravioli nachos for Melissa :! 10/10 would recommend this place for a cozy & romantic date night!

I was recommended to this restaurant by a friend, and it is indeed an amazing restaurant!! They always serve very fresh seafood and it tastes great. I changed the sauce to tomato sauce based on my preferences. We ordered the pizza con polpette and two pastas with one salmon on top. The meatballs on the pizza are very crispy, and the cheese is also delicious. Their tiramisu is also great and can serve two to three people. The atmosphere makes me feel relaxed and comfortable.

I wish I could give it a 3.5 star rating but Google won't allow it. FOOD: The food was good, but not the best. Ravioli nachos were different and I would rate that dish 5/5. It was quite heavy for 2 people, and definitely worth a try. My second dish was Pollo Alla Cacciatore with a side of Gnocchi. The chicken was well cooked, asparagus had some end parts that weren't chewable but cooked. The tomato sauce was sweet and at times sour. For my drink I had a classic Caesar which was quite terrible. Not spicy, tomato juice tasted watered down. SERVICE: The service in the beginning was friendly, both the greeter & waiter. During our meal they checked on us once, but never offered a water refill. We had to ask for more water from another waiter. Our second meal took a while to come out, as well as my drink. ATMOSPHERE: Tables are small for a cozy setting, but can be improved. Tables next to the door during winter aren't a good idea due to cold air coming in every time a customer comes. There was a candle on the table, maybe dim the lights a bit for a romantic setting? It's a good restaurant to try once, but it is definitely on the pricey end for its food & drinks. Vegetarian options: Make your own pasta, pizza

Good place it's new so it's not super busy just yet but it's very good you can tell that a lot of work has gone into making the food. The pasta alone is amazing, drinks are good it is a bit pricey but I would say it's worth it! The staff was friendly and nice as well, the patio seating is very nice!

I attended Bello Mio with two friends for the first time last night. We started with a Chicken Alfredo pizza as a shared appetizer, then our individual orders included "Penne Alla Vodka" Penne in vodka rose sauce... "Branzino" Sea Bass with mushroom risotto... and my choice, "Fettuccini Alfredo". I dropped in the day before to chat briefly with the owner and was able to reserve the table in the front window, which proved to be one of the most comfortable settings of any restaurant I've been to. The food is excellent, hands down, and the portions are significant. We did experience some of what has been described in other recent reviews.... namely the learning curve on the part of the new waiter... but as this is the Christmas season, we rolled with the flow and had a great time. I will certainly go back to try their lunch menu. Also....their espresso coffee is delicious.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant. It was above and beyond our expectations. Upon entering the establishment it felt warm and inviting. The food was of high end quality with a very reasonable price. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

We were very pleasently surprised by this gem of a restaurant in downtown Kitchener. Authentic Italian flavours, warm atmosphere, and incredibly nice staff. All the food was incredible, hard to pick a favourite but we especially loved the arincinni. The owner and chef both introduced themselves and checked in with us frequently. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try a new Italian place and support a new local family owned business. Thanks for the wonderful meal Bello Mio, we will definitely be back soon!

What a wonderful new Italian place! The people are so welcoming and the food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the Chef was able to accommodate my risotto and made it without mushrooms. The arancini’s were also so delicious. Portions are great and just delicious!

This is a cute restaurant in DTK. The portions are large! Lots of veg options. Service was okay, the server didn't come by to check-in, or fill our water. A good place to go for date night.Food: 3/5
