Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine

The worst biryani I ever had.Asked the owner for recomendation.He said my biryani is the best.But that was not what he mentioned malabar dum biryani.Not at all worth the price.The rice he uses is not even basmati.The cheap rice half the size of basmati rice and boiled chicken piece in it. The combo he gave with two protha.The protha was good.But the Paneer Butter masala he gave was just 4-5 small cubes of cheese in tomato sauce.The sauce is actually used for Paneer makhani and he is selling it for Paneer Butter Masala.He charged $18 for this.Really disappointed.

This 5 star is purely for their malabar biryani or rather should I say the thalashery biryani. This is a small take out location in Scarborough is the only place in GTA I can find anything close to authentic malabar style biryani. They use the jeeraka samba kind rice which itself brings great authenticity. The flavor are correct and not overwhelming, quantity is good for the price and overall taste is great.

I ordered chicken curry and I got literally 2 pieces that were made small as small as possible. Moreover , water is more thicker than thier gravy.I suggest them to change their shop name from curry leaves to “curry leftovers”

I don't really understand the pricing of their dishes, the price for chicken curry is $6.99 for five pieces of chicken in it and they gave us 4 piece in it. This is not the first time we experience these mistakes. And the curry wasn't that good at all. And they give us silly excuses, if we call them. I gave the store 1 star rating because there is no other way to write a review about the store. I won't ever suggest this restaurant to anyone in this condition.

My craving for Poratta and Beef gets satisfied here. I have tried Porotta from all take out Kerala restaurants in Scarborough, nothing except curry leaves could provide the quality of ‘adicha fresh porotta’. Kudos to the management for keeping it open until late night, also to whoever makes ‘the adicha fresh porotta’

One of the worst new year of my life I ordered I mandi rice with alfahm chicken from this store and at 11.45pm on 31st dec I got the mandi rice with the raw chicken filled with masala not even put on heat I don't know how they are still doing this business here too much disappointed...

Food quality is good but there is no proper menu. We bought porotta and tandoori chicken combo last week and now this week when we tried to buy that they told me combo is not available .please provide a good menu which we can refer . I don't know how come menu change in one week and they asked to pay $4 for gravy which was given free last week . Again food QUALITY is good . Tandoori chicken was delicious

Always great food. Order ahead to enjoy fresh seafood curries from south India. It's not your typical Biriyani Restaurant!. Their fresh Fish curries take you back to India. Never judge a book by its cover. Enjoy

I ordered Biryani rice and they didn't serve the food hot. When I called for informing this issue, the guy working over there gave me instructions to heat the food in oven. Quality of food was also so poor. Very bad experience.

Curry leaves changed its name as Tharavadu. Changed the ownership too. No change in the cook. Quantity of food is coming lower and prices are sky rocketing. No change and improvement in tastes of the food. Let's wait for the new management decision to improve. Vegetarian options: No consideration for vegetarians. Parking: Limited parking spaces are available.
