Best hidden authentic Indian resturant in the area ! Food: great flavors with good portion for price.food tasted fresh and made on the spot. The Naan bread was big in size. My only complaint is that we ordered mild and it was still a little spicy, if you can't handle spice at all I would think twice aka my dad Atmosphere: as soon as you walk in the aromas open up your appetite. The seating is supper romantic. Service: friendly and polite. They were patient in answering my questions . In the pictures you will see : Butter chicken - mild tasted very sweet Safron basmati rice - full of flavour Dal makhani - mild but a little spicy still delicious Garlic Naan- good size made in house They gifted us a mango pudding ? I assume it is kheer I will be ordering again !
Food was sweet. There weren't many chicken. The naan were big and tasted nice. Overall not impressed as per the reviews on this. Overall wouldn't come here again or recommend.
Amazing food and staff. I've been working with the owner for years! He has always been so nice and kind and cares about his customers. He goes out of his way to make the experience 5 star! I come back here again and again! Grand cuisine, the food is also very amazing!
Tried out Vindaloo and was very happy with our choice! The server was extremely pleasant and recommended a few dishes! We ordered chefs special for appetizer, garlic naan bread, butter chicken, and paneer! Would recommend and go back!
We went here yesterday after spending the whole day at Scarborough Bluffs, I was craving for some spicy Indian food together with my boyfriend. It's my birthday so it's a YES DAY for me • I love the ambiance, it's a little warm maybe because outside is way too hot and humid -- maybe increasing the AC isn't bad to as well. • The food was GREAT and although it's a bit pricey compared to other Indian resto especially around Malton or Brampton, but Scarborough has a lot of Indian restaurants as well. Again, I know that everything is expensive right now so it's acceptable. Malai Kofta for 14.99 if I remember it correctly and Plain Naan 2.99 each . • The people that helps us are all AMAZING - very warm and kind! • Something that I do not like is the proper lighting on the way downstairs in the washroom. I have to touch the wall and trying to find the on/off button like I am playing in a escape room or something - quite funny but honestly it could have been better. To keep the ambiance, they can put a night light too so that customers can able to see the washroom and the stairs too. Vegetarian options: We had MALAI KOFTA and Tandoori Naan plain
Great butter chicken and nann. Great service. Told the server to be mild on butter chicken. It was really good. We also ordered recommended mango lassi. Nice one. Didnt like chicken briyani as it was spicy and too much of paste curry for my taste. Parking: Parallel street parking in front of the store.
It's my first time visiting Vindaloo Indian Cuisine and I absolutely loved the butter chicken. I highly recommend this cuisine.
Initially we had planned to go to Banjara's in Danforth, but they had only take out, so we'll go there once they setup the restaurant for Dine-In. I always prefer Dine-In. We then googled restaurants in the area & Vindaloo Indian Cuisine popped up. Coincidentally, my wife had come here with my late aunt over 9 years ago & they had loved the food. So, off we went for an early dinner 6pm. - Excellent & Courteous service - Deliciously prepared food - Good ambience. If you haven't tried this restaurant, you should definitely do so. We had their special- Chicken Vindaloo motherinlaw loved it, Lamb Kadai Gosht wife loved it & Matar Paneer son loved it & the Butter Naans ofcourse! And me? I enjoyed everything....who wouldn't! Importantly the server checked the level of spice we wanted when placing the order & though I love spicy, I asked for mild for my wife & MIL :- Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant Parking: Note: Parking is on the street in front of the restaurant a board states parallel parking only. I think there's about 8 spots but they're for all the stores. Initially, we took a right & parked in the parking lot behind the stores, but was told by the Pizza Pizza store worker that it was only for their customers.
The food from Vindaloo is delicious and very authentic. The Methi Chicken and Madras Chicken is a mandate to be tasted, it's one of the best I had in Toronto. The coconut flavored Madras Chicken is simply outstanding. Besides that we also ordered Kadai Paneer, Kashmiri Dum Aloo, Garlic Naan and Rosemary Naan. A perfect comfort meal. The ambiance is good and the staff is friendly. Deducting 1 point as the sitting arrangement is a bit discomforting for a large group of 5-6, the washroom was not clean. It would be best for takeaway considering the food taste.
Ordered the garlic naan, butter chicken and saffron rice !! Food was yumm and chicken pieces were also good but I wish gravy quantity was little extra. Garlic naan was too good , soft and pluffy and tasty !Rice tasted like khushka for me but overall had good experience. Will definitely dine in to explore more !!!
