Christmas lunch was excellent. Good variety of selection, from seafood to meat. All you can eat lobster was decent, but was slightly overcooked. Dining hall needed more waiters, but considering today was Christmas you can't expect much. Christmas decorations around the dining hall provided a nice photo shoot with family. Ninety minute time limit per table, so come starving to eat your fill as fast as possible.
Had the best New Year's Eve dinner with the dinner and stay package. The five course dinner with steak option was a massive melt in your mouth filet mignon!! Every dish was delicious and five star quality with complex flavors and beautiful presentation. I highly recommend the dine and stay package at Crave. Sheraton hotel was exceptional as well! Beautifully renovated rooms with the convenience of this restaurant right downstairs by the lobby.
Amazing experience. Great value for valentine's special. The salmon was definitely the star of the show. Lobster tasted delicious with the bisque sauce. Seacuterie instead of charcuterie was genius. Loved the smoked salmon and shrimp. Definitely would come again for regular meals. Staff was very friendly as well.
Came across this restaurant and decided to try take out for family dinner. Beautiful spacious seating area. Friendly restaurant staff. Easy to order on Uber or Skip the Dishes for pickup or delivery. Good variety of dishes on the menu. Order was ready in 30 min. Clear signage showing patrons where to pick up your order. We ordered: Jumbo Ravioli Pasta $19 Italian sausage and broccolini filled ravioli, with sundried tomato pesto, Kalamata olives, roasted garlic, and parmesan cheese. Comes with large 8 pieces of Ravioli. Good ingredients but too salty with too many olives for my taste. Fish & Chips $21 Large 9 oz battered haddock with French fries, tartar sauce, and lemon wedges. Large piece of fish but the batter on the fish is hard and dry. The fries are good. Chicken Kaarage $14 Japanese inspired fried chicken with togarashi mayo dip. Average. The Mayo dip is tasty. Classic Caesar $14 Crisp romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, smoked bacon, herb croutons and house-made dressing. Good but the lettuce was warm. Because this was a takeout order it was packed with the warm food which is probably why the lettuce was warm and wilted. House Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich $18 48 hours smoked and slow cooked beef brisket tossed in barbecue sauce, topped with apple cider slaw served with choice of French fries, onion rings or side salad. Really good burger. Overall, happy to try this restaurant to support local businesses but some dishes were better than others. Perhaps dining in the restaurant would be better for certain dishes. The ambiance of the seating area may also make the dining experience more enjoyable.
Pleasantly surprised! The BBQ plates are tasty and the portion was good. Ribs were fall off the bone, saucy and smokey. Chicken was a tad too salty but was still good. BBQ sauce was different between the two. The pickled mango slaw helps balance the salt and the fat from the protein. The mexican corn was well seasoned and addicting. The brisket sandwich was just as good. Lots of meat and it melts in your mouth. French onion soup was piping hot, cheesy and was great. Service and food wait was a tad slow but it was a one man show running the indoor and patio at night. But everything was solid. Water, cutlery and side plates were given promptly and order he memorized was correct. Will definitely recommend!
I wish I could give 0 or negative stars. We went for the Christmas eve buffet at 7pm, Dec 24. For a $80/person plus auto 15% service charge add-on, I think I could get better food and service in Mandarin or Dragon Legend buffet. First, the line-up for lobster was ridiculous - at least 15 min if not longer wait. Second, the person at the carving station must be told to cut both roast prime rib and turkey as thin as and as small as humanly possible. It was so thin and small that it's like a shaved deli. Other food were only ok. Dessert tables were a disaster ... ... The service was ridiculous too. Plates were not taken away and water was no refilled unless you asked. A few of the servers came by the table to ask you if you wanted any extra drink, if you said no, they did not even talk empty plates away. As one other reviewer mentioned that she was told that lobsters were almost ran out after the first seating, the Executive Chef should be fired. As all tables were by reservation, there was no walk-in. They knew how many people were in each seating. They should get enough food for everyone. One thing I know is I will NOT return in the future and will tell everyone I know not to.
This is one of the best venues for Christmas buffet lunch I have been to. Lots of choice of food. Lots of space, so you don't feel cramped. So many starters, mains, desserts and all cooked/prepared perfectly. The staff are all very helpful and available.Food: 5/5
Went to try this restaurant as part of the complimentary breakfast buffet package for my stay in the hotel. As with buffet selections, I was also responsible for grabbing my own food items. Within 15 minutes of being seated, I was given the bill and strongly suggested to provide a tip, even if breakfast was complimentary. No dining service had been provided at this point. I was initially planning to tip the server at the end of the meal and did not appreciate being rushed. Overall, food was good and had lots of variety. Pushy staff that brings the bill right when seated and suggests to tip when no service has been provided really sours what could have been a great experience.
Went with the whole family for Christmas dinner buffet. The buffet was set up in the grand ballroom. Minimal Christmas decoration. Feel like dining at a Community Center. Bad logistic at the carving station and lobster station. My sister only wanted lobster and asked the server if she could just go directly to the lobster station, and she was told everyone needed to lineup at the same line. Average wait time at the carving + lobster station is 10 - 15 min. Later on the lines are getting too long and a waiter came and asked if anyone just wanted lobster can go directly to the lobster station finally someone came to his sense. Many dishes are not refilled quickly. If you came later for the food, you feel like taking leftover from previous seating. They don’t even replenish plates. Servers at the table are nice and polite. Food tasted ok. But overall experience is subpar.
Went there for a New Year Eve's dinner and had a great selection and attentive staffs. The price point did aligned with high quality of food and selection. We went in at 7:30 time slot and the food was replenished often. Even at the end nearing their closing they did try to replenish the food. Probably will come back and try the regular restaurant or another holiday meal.
