I remember Cracker Barrel to be a good heartily meal... kind of like eating at Mom’s. Today we got eggs over easy that were already popped and somewhat hard, flavorless biscuits and gravy, when we ordered 4 sides of fries we only received 2. The description of the food sounded good but was not what we were served. Corn tasted like can corn. Chicken and dumplings tastes like the chicken was boiled not cooked for hours as described. It was a 40 min wait for a not very good meal. The waitress was nice. I was so disappointed in the taste and small amount of food. Needless to say there are so many options in Boise that we do not plan on visiting this restaurant again.

I have not been to a Cracker Barrel in about 12 years and don't really know why it has been so long. We had such a wonderful experience at the Boise location. Every worker were super friendly and helpful. The workers truly enhanced our experience. The drinks: I had the sweet tea and was very good and never empty. The food: the chicken fried chicken was moist and had good flavor. The biscuits, well let's just say they love to hand those out. I had so much food for the money. What a great value. The service: I have already mentioned it, but it was worth revisiting. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with very friendly staff. This was consistent till the end of our visit. I have had worse service in a five star restaurant. The employees and managers should be very proud of the work they do. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing you again.

Went in for lunch, pleasantly surprised at the menu. The food was excellent but I mean the actual menu. It was printed and made to be disposable, menus are usually the dirtiest things in restaurants. So it's nice knowing they are aware of this. Lovely waitress and very honest about the food, would come eat here again. My main and only complaint is the employees in the store part. I was told to pay in the store part.. I strongly disliked the 5 employees in that cramped space following my daughter and I like we were going to break something or steal a useless piece of decor that can easily be found on Amazon for a dollar.

These guys are awesome! Cracker Barrel in general has amazing food, and this one in particular is amazing. The staff was so friendly, they helped me have an amazing experience even though my food was 5 minutes late (I honestly wasn’t even mad about that, it was well worth the wait) and I am now eating the best Double Fudge Coca-Cola Cake I have ever had. 5/5

40 minute wait at 2 pm Saturday (not crazy busy) for 3 strips of bacon (one burnt), scrambled eggs and biscuits I'm still waiting for biscuits (now at 45 minutes). Yikes. Called a manager over and she offered to replace the bacon and to buy dessert. I appreciate that but the flavors of the food didn't taste that great either. Won't be returning.
