Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Mississauga/West

I recently attended a three-day conference at Courtyard by Marriott, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.nnThe conference facilities were excellent—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for networking. The meeting rooms were comfortable, and everything was set up flawlessly each day.nnMy stay was just as enjoyable! The rooms were clean, modern, and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after long eventful days. The on-site dining options were a pleasant surprise, offering delicious meals and great service.nnA huge thank you to the wonderful team at Courtyard by Marriott for their hospitality and attention to detail. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays—I’ll definitely be back!

I had to book a hotel quickly after finding out the severe overnight weather during my son's hockey tournament in Brampton. This location was more than accommodating. We were able to easily book a room, check-in went above and beyond, the room was excellent, and we got the opportunity to partake in the hot tub and pool.nnThe room was clean and comfortable. A small coffee maker and microwave added to the comfort. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and check-out was smooth.

I’m quite disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I booked a king-size bedroom with a sofa bed for two nights using points but was given a double queen room in terrible condition. The room was dirty, had a strong moldy smell due to a leaking AC that soaked the carpet, and there were bugs in the room.nnI reported the issues with the AC and odor to the front desk, and while they sent someone to address it, the problem remained unresolved. Frustrated, I upgraded and paid for four nights in an executive suite. While the suite was significantly better, cleaner, and free of the moldy smell, I still noticed bugs, mainly flies. Additionally, the AC units in the suite were extremely loud, forcing me to turn them off just to sleep, even though the outside temperature was -11°C.nnWhen I requested an extra blanket for the sofa bed, I received a torn and heavily worn blanket.nnOn the positive side, the hotel has a convenient location for accessing Mississauga and nearby areas. It also offers good amenities, including a large outdoor parking lot, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a gym, and a spacious lobby with a small bistro that serves a limited menu of meals. The meeting rooms also seem suitable for hosting business events.nnDespite these advantages, the poor room conditions, cleanliness issues, and maintenance problems make me hesitant to return. I will likely explore other hotel options in the area for my next visit.

The hotel was actually really nice. It was clean and well looked after. No bed bugs, which is always a plus. However there was a slight moldy smell, almost not noticeable. And also, turning on the heating is very loud. Disturbs your sleep a bit

The TV did not work at all. I'm a tech savvy guy and wasn't an obvious problem. Decided to leave it and work on my laptop. The work desk has a bar fridge underneath making it a squeeze to fit in and do your work. Finally in the morning, when leaving, the elevators were super busy. Full of service staff heading out to the floors. I'm going to assume there isn't any service elevator and only two to share with guests? I ended up walking the stairs, 6 floors down.nThat said, the room was lovely and clean. The bathroom was well equipped and clean and new. The staff is very nice.nThis hotel is a good second / third choice when the room rates are reasonable.
