Great experience at Peel Memorial Centre’s Diagnostic Imaging department! Went for a bone scan last Saturday Oct. 14, which very convenient and not too busy.nnThe facility was impressive and the staff were excellent! Jenitha completed the registration efficiently and was very friendly and engaging. The wait was not long compared to other healthcare facilities. The change-rooms were large and clean, and had doors with locks instead of curtains, like other facilities.nnThe technician, Lisa B., was amazing! She was very friendly and clearly explained each step of the procedure, which was appreciated. She asked the required questions for the test, but also maintained casual conversation to enhance my comfort level with the scan. At all points throughout the process, she confirmed that I was comfortable or asked if I needed any support. She was a truly lovely person and effective health professional!nnThank you Jenitha and Lisa B. for making my first bone scan a pleasant one! I would definitely recommend Peel Memorial Centre and the Diagnostic Imaging department! :
My husband took our 9 year old son to Urgent Care on Friday for fever accompanied by rash rash is abnormal symptom for him. Doctor ran blood tests and a throat swab to test for strep, and said we would know the results by that night if they were positive, and that they would call us. No phone call, so we assumed it was negative. Today, Monday, we received a call from the nurse around 2pm that the test was positive and that she would send a prescription to our pharmacy..I called the pharmacy two hours later, and they have nothing. I called urgent care to see if they can help and they advised that I would need to come back in and wait in the line of people to see a doctor again to get the prescription even though they can see the positive result or wait until tomorrow. What kind of health care is this?? I'm so tired of this insufficient care.
This is a great hospital. It is VERY clean inside and outside and directions are easy to follow. Honestly if, Jalessa RN wasn’t there, nothing would’ve been done around there. She’s a lifesaver who cares. I can’t thank her enough. I gave 1 less star because I find that their system needs to be updated efficiently when a patient moves to another location otherwise, you’re left trying to locate the patient yourself while the staff doesn’t know where they are. I also noticed just one doctor on the floor with every exam room filled. Nurses are in abundance but why such limited doctors? When you try to find the doctor, it takes way too long to find him let alone having him come to your room. The parking fee wasn’t exorbitant. I spent over 3 hours and I paid $16+. Ample parking is also available. Masks are mandatory at this hospital and one visitor/family member is allowed with the patient in the room.
Amazing experience. I came in at 3:30am on a Friday morning and it was empty! Triage nurse was nice! Registration was friendly. Nurses were thorough and helpful. DI tech was pleasant! I saw 2 ER docs, both who were nice, straight to the point, yet I felt cared for! In and out in
Dr. Quan female Asian absolutely should get her license taken away. She has no patient care, she literally push my name to the bottom of list because I asked her how long it would be until I saw her. She made me wait even when she could see me till I requested a new dr. That I saw with in 5 mins of my request. She was extremely rude, passive aggressive and frankly unprofessional as she was laughing and skipping around the waiting room that was filled with sick people.nn-10000000/10 I wouldn’t trust her with a Barbie’s life let alone a human.nnShe shouldn’t be a doctor, she shouldn’t work with people
