Cooksville Fish & Chips

I ordered basa fish and chips. It cost me $9.00 for two pieces and some chips. The fish was fried well and it was nice and hot. The chips were crisp and wasn’t soggy or soft like some places. Next time, I’ll try the halibut.

The best fish and chips ever, always great quality and huge portions. The family business is wonderful and they deserve a lot of credit, to still stay a float during the pandemic, please try them.I order every week, the best.

I ordered halibut and chips with an individual coleslaw for takeout. Owner packed my order and gave me my takeout bag. Got home and realized that they didn't pack my coleslaw. Very disappointing! Halibut was delicious Chips were good Overall a good meal but disappointed they didn't pack my order properly.

Great fish for the price. Just had the daily special, 2 fair sized piece with a good portion of fries. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other fish

A nice mom and pop shop owned by a very nice couple. Simple menu selection offering great value. Bring cash/debit card. Free parking in the plaza where they are located.

Ordered Halibut fish and chips for delivery. Large, hot, delicious fish. Breading crisp and thin. Very delicious. Fries very fresh too. Was my first time trying this location. Will definitely order again as well as bring my Dad over sometime. I was going to add tartar sauce to my order but saw a note saying every order comes with 2 tartar sauce, they forgot the tartar but honestly the food was so tasty I dont mind at all. Much love and hopefully see you again soon! Ps. Packaging was nice and compact, easy to clean, much better than the huge bags of major chains

This place is not what it once was, it's a new owner and the way it used to be prepared is different, the quality is bad now... If your going to eat here you're better off making your own fish and chips at home, trust me it will be better than what they serve here

The owners are pleasant and friendly, in person. They are very accommodating in your requests for your order. My only caveat.....when ordering Halibut, was given Haddock instead. Not very pleased about it!!! As I paid for Halibut. . .....and as anyone who knows......it's not cheap!!!
