Came on a Friday evening. Reservations for indoors. Very tight inside but the decor really puts you in Spain. We were a group of 6 and was able to share quite a lot of items. The octopus was cooked to perfection that we didn’t have to over chew or cut it. The potato croquette had the right amount of crunch and fluff. The sour dough bread with tomato was sweet and tangy. The pork was cooked tender enough to not over chew with vegetables filled with flavour. Now the paella- it’s not your traditional paella but still enjoyable. We got the one with chicken and lamb + squid ink. The squid ink was very unique but I did enjoy the more traditional flavour of the chicken and lamb. What I missed was the crips of the rice that I’m used too - but the flavours were all there. Would recommend and would return - also all the servers were amazing!
Overall food was pretty good. Atmosphere and decor was really nice. There's not tonnes of seating on the inside but there is a patio for the summer. I'm not sure what an authentic Paella tastes like since I have nothing to compare it to, but it was very flavourful. My favourite thing that we ordered was the 1/4 octopus and the churros at the end. For all the oyster lovers out there they have dollar oysters every Wednesday and Thursday! Service was great and attentive. Definitely a cute little spot!
Decoration is pretty. Table was a bit small for dishes. But foods were super nice. We ordered 3 tapas and a paella. They all taste amazing. Services was excellent too. Will definitely come back. They also have good selection of wine.Recommended dishesArroz Negro Con Chipirones
Amazing atmosphere , place is nice and cozy. Food tasted really good even tho the paella didn't do it for me. Found the food to be pretty pricey for what u get! Service as 5 stars.
Beautiful restaurant with lovely spanish cuisine! The patios is amazing! The octopus was out of this world, perfectly cooked deliciously seasoned, 10/10 would recommend this dish. Also the Cauliflower was phenomenal, simple dish but beautiful combination of flavors, textures, and color on the plate! And of course the paella - undoubtedly the best in GTA! Chef Humberto works his culinary magic at his lovely restaurant. Definitely recommended to try if you're in the mood for good Spanish tapas, sangria and a great time!
Would come back here for oysters & the octopus. Red Sangria 7.5/10. Good. Cod fritters 6.5/10. Plain & has yellow mustard on top? Octopus 8.5/10. Cooked perfectly. Oysters 9/10. YUM. Paella 7/10. missing some flavour & small of seafood.
Our group of 9 visited on a Sunday evening, we had chance to taste a variety of items on the menu, it was all very good. Our favourites were the octopus, cauliflower, and pork steak. The restaurant was full, so the dishes were a bit slow coming out.
Finally got to visit this restaurant. Let me start by saying that the service was outstanding. Marjorie was fantastic, gave us recommendations on what to order and kept replenishing our water and napkins as if she knew we are so picky on the small details. The timing of when to bring the different appetizers and mains was also perfect! The wine was superb and my favourite appetizer was the Chorizo with home made bread. We ordered the Paella, Octopus which was very soft and fish croquetas a little small but tasty and the churros were also very good. I appreciated the cajeta style dulce de leche. We will come back and try other items on the menu! Yum!
The food and service were great. We ordered a couple of paellas and a few tapa dishes, I highly recommend the octopus dish, It was very tender. We thought all the tapa dishes were excellent and delicious. The paellas and the Cornish hen were alright, we liked the hen better actually. Furthermore it was pretty easy to find a parking spot.
An unexpected disappointed experience. Great food. But unprofessional service. The waitress told us that only 2 hours dinning time when we came in. So, we ordered as fast as we could. Four of us ordered 2 paellas. Because that takes 30-45 minutes. Then we ordered 3 starts to share. Ham, cauliflower and claims. The 3 starts took almost an hour to the table. After we finished the starts. We tried to order another two mains. But the waitress told us there’s only 20 minutes left. No time for you to order. But half of the restaurant was empty by then. And nobody waiting. We argued that we ordered right away. The starts took so long to get ready. The restaurant was not busy. Why didn’t let us order mains? We talked to the owner. He said he couldn’t do anything about it. Later on, we found out that the waitress is his relative. Because they cooked the two paella too early. By the time, we finished our late starts. The paellas were so dry. We respect to restaurants’ rules. But the rules need to be flexible especially not in busy hours.
