First time visiting and it was for a birthday. The service was absolutely impeccable and friendly, we had a large group and the flow of things was perfect! Food was phenomenal, well priced and delicious. The restaurant itself is really nice with a great atmosphere, I'm really looking forward to returning here during Spring/Summer! Great spot, great people and will definitely be returning.
I really enjoyed dining at this cozy restaurant. The oysters were extremely fresh, definitely worth the money. Also, I really recommend the seafood linguini with their delicious lobster sauce. Great view and atmosphere. Special thanks to Tracy, who was extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommended.
After a long wait, we were seated with the lake view Lovely place & wonderful lively ambiance… We got calamari for starters. Sorry no photo! We were so hungry we immediately jumped in Food was good & the service was excellent. A gem at Port Credit indeed! One of my favourite venues
This was an easy 5 stars. I really love this place, and I’m actually typing this review while still sitting at their bar. First of all the food I had was absolutely top tier stuff. Fish & chips is haddock and it’s easily among the best fish & chips I’ve had. My bartender was Christina hope I’m spelling it right and she was great too. I mean really I have zero qualms here. Great wine selection. White and malt vinegar offered. It’s excellent. I will return whenever I’m in the area.
Lovely ambience and a fantastic bunch of welcoming staff. Accommodated our request to seat our service pet dog and were very amiable, handling the orders. The view is a charmer however food portions and spice levels can definitely elevate. Vegetarian options: Available Parking: Available Wheelchair accessibility: Available
I cant wait to go back! Service was great and the food was exceptional. There was about a 30 min wait time to be seated but it was worth every minute. Dined on the patio with an open view of the marina and and lake. The food was fresh, tasty and portioned well. Can easily spend over $100 for 2 seatings. Visited August 2021.
I decided to go to Snug Harbour on a second date with this beautiful girl. I'd say we're pretty good friends and thought that a relationship could be ideal between us. First date was fun and second date started off great! However during our meal, as fun and tasty as the food was I ended up finding out that my date didn't really feel the same way about me as I did towards her. My heart felt empty and my eyes began to slightly tear up. I'm not the best at confronting my feelings but it was a depressing moment. Nevertheless, we decided to remain good friends and who knows what the future holds. Keep your head up gents! Don't let your feelings get tantalizingly thrown up and away. On the plus side I thought about the tasty food I had at snug and it cheered me up. Definitely recommend this restaurant! 5
I started with the little neck clam chowder and it was delicious! My main was the Salmon Florentine which was recommended. Make sure to make reservations before you go as there’s usually a wait time as they are very busy and popular!
Great place for seafood dinner. I had the steamed traditional mussels and fish and chips. Haven't had F&C's in ages and it was great. I did one piece. Partner had the steak. We arrived at 430pm for an early dinner. Was busier when we left. Parking is free but files up fast later in the night.
Brought my 94 yo mother and out of town visitors here. The service was great, we all enjoyed our dishes, and the views from the patio added to the experience. My mother was delighted, which was the most important part! She would have liked to have returned for her 95th birthday, but since one cannot reserve tables we decided against it. Some in our party did not eat fish, but there was something on the menu to satisfy all our individual preferences. Snug Harbour well deserves 5 stars based on this visit. Parking: Free parking available.
