very professional atmosphere at the Trinidad embassy. Ravi Maharaj on the phone was great with his customer relations. The staff at the Trinidad immigration should be commended for their approach to us Trinis living here in Ontario. They make me so proud and my Canadian kids enjoyed their warm friendly personalities. thank you :)

Great reviews but how about the following: 1. No parking for us the citizens but staff (and by extension their family and friends) are allowed to park within the building compound 2. No disability parking or provisions made for the elderly except for a ramp coming into the building 3. Have to cross a busy roadway with traffic lights over a kilometre away where you can cross safely 4. Staff who say they would get back to you but don't 5. Lost paperwork, no accountability and same "don't care and who you know" attitude as in Trinidad 6. Applied for restoration of citizenship back in 2009 - still waiting - all documentation was in order 7. Am I the only person that is concern of Items 1 to 3 8. One star review is too generous at this time

Professional, courteous and timely service. Parking a bit challenging but still better and cheaper than going downtown.

My visit to TT Consulate was pleasant and smooth. I was treated with respect and dignity every step of the way. I need to share this experience since there are reviews that are misleading, disturbing and unfair. I showed up without an appointment to submit my documents:- I was impressed with the calm, friendly and peaceful atmosphere. The mature gentleman at the reception desk was helpful, informative and kind. I misunderstood the photograph requirement and Mr.Ravi Maharaj immediately resolve the issue. He sorted my documents and separated what I needed to submit. He said "don't be nervous or anxious, take your time to complete the form then you will be seen". His mannerism was reassuring, professional and polite. Next I saw the Immigration Clerk J'eniver Farrell-Corbin, she was polite, professional and even fixed my hair for the picture(it was unruly), I could not get it to stay right. The immigration officer Cecelia Bruce came to verify my picture on the passport. She introduced herself professionally and took the time to say "how are you today?" with a smile showing the warmth and friendliness of our culture. On my way out, there was another female member of staff sitting at the reception. She was kind, courteous and helpful. I receive excellent service throughout the time I was there. My wait time was amazing compared to other offices in Canada of similar nature. I encountered nothing to complain about but one suggestion arrange for some more parking spots on the side street. Well done Toronto TT consulate team. Keep up the good work. We need your service here. F. Hosein

Standing outside the main entrance no visible sign as to business hours ....a pleasant young lady I presume an employee let me in and seated me 1/2 hr before opening! I felt right at home
