Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Toronto

I was worried before visiting because I had read negative reviews. However my experience was that the service was kind and efficient. It seems like there may be one person who’s rude but the person I had was not like that. There were some materials to prepare in advance and it wasn’t as clear when I received reservation confirmation. That could be made clearer I think. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

A guy who check a reservation attitude was terrible. My name was not on the reservation list because I booked today did not updated list. He turned the list toward me find me myself. His voice was quite irritating with passive aggressive. And when I asked him print application form he seemed to go to check and told me asked a employee who is at #3 counter. The application form I was looking for was in front of there rather stay in document shelve. If he told me the paper was stored there I did not waste my time. He did not where is proper document paper. He is Unprofessional.

The worker who finally answered my call after more than 50 tries was RUDE. His extenstion is #274. Worst manners. So disappointing as the Korean Consulate is supposed to be the face of Korea. Behaviour was unprofessional and he was struggling to speak English but still managed to be RUDE saying he was busy. His JOB is to ANSWER the phone and ANSWER questions. If you cannot speak English properly, maybe he should not work there as it located in Toronto, Canada, an English speaking country.

Trash service. Trash country. Came for multi entry visa today. Thanks to them I wasted an hour travelling here only to find out they provided wrong info in email when I inquired last month.nNo apologies, no empathy, no support. All you get is an impatient lady with very bad attitude, texting and chatting with colleagues while you are at the counter.nAgreed with other reviewers, people who works in this consulate is playing passive aggressive and extremely unkind.nI’ll reconsider my trip and will not travel to this country
