Consulate General of Germany

We went to the consulate last year to make a name declaration for the kids and apply for their passports. I contacted them a few weeks before our appointment and they provided me with a list of the documents to bring (including how many copies). They also offered to check the scanned documents to ensure everything is correct. Driving down from Québec City this was very helpful. During the appointment, they were very friendly.

Arrived for my youth mobility visa appointment 40 minutes early, barely got to sit down before they called me up. Handed over all the documents that they asked for on the checklist, they checked it over, and I was done within 10 minutes. The man at the counter was very polite and answered all my questions. Most impressively: despite the 2-3 weeks for processing that it says on their website, the man told me it'd take only 1 week, and I ended up getting it in just 5 days. Amazing service.

Really nice office, went in for my Visa appt, smooth and to the point. Got it back in 4 days.

just called the consulate and the lady on the phone was really rude. I was talking to her and she hanged up the phone on me. I’m not happy with that service at all. I was on the line for 15 minuets to talk to someone but she didn’t want to listen. Worst service ever.

not the best customer service. the people over there are very rude and kept me waiting for very long before they called me in
