Products

The role of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Toronto is to assist Czech citizens and businesses in Canada.

Consulate General in Toronto covers 4 provinces - Ontario (except the districts in jurisdiction of the Embassy in Ottawa), Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Consulate actively promotes Czech culture and Czech cultural heritage, as well as cultural events to be organized with cooperation in various organizations within our jurisdiction.

The Economic and Trade section of the Consulate is active in the field of promotion of bilateral economic ties between the Czech Republic businesses and their counterparts from 4 Canadian provinces.
We promote and assist in the field of investment and trade promotion, including suppliers identification, business development assistance, investment opportunities assistance, search for partners in the Czech Republic and vice versa. We focus on priority sectors such as ICT, life sciences, aerospace, cleantech, nanotechnology, energy and renewables, public transportation. We also cover university and research cooperation, including technology transfer.
