This hotel was amazing. Thank you for the good stay. Everyone was friendly. Good breakfast, has eggs and protein. Not just basic cereal. Gerald front desk was super helpful and super nice! Again, good experience, better than some Hilton Hotels I've been to. A+++ Thank you.
Do NOT stay at this hotel! Im absolutely shocked at how I was treated by the management of this hotel. When I checked in and walked into my room I was instantly hit with a saturated cigarette smell. It was so bad to the point of being intolerable to withstand. So, I talked to the man at the front desk explaining how bad it was and he followed with not a single apology and denied my claims. Saying he can't do anything about it. Stating that if It's that bad I should find another hotel for the night. After some deliberation he finally gave me a different room. Upon arriving to my new room, it wasn't much better smell wise and also not up to my standards of cleanliness. After already being frustrated with the staff and room I went online and booked a different hotel for the night. When I went to check out and explain that I not longer wanted to stay at their establishment the manager told me "absolutely not" Confused, I explained that I was not happy with the quality of the hotel and would pay a cancellation fee if needed. He proceeded to raise his voice at me saying I was being disrespectful and not appreciative of him giving me a different room. Mind you, both of the rooms I went in I did not touch a single thing, or use the washroom so it was clean and ready to use for another customer. The manager continued to quite literally lecture me on how he has to go and clean the rooms now and that I had caused so much work for him. He refused to let me cancel our reservation and said he would charge me the full fee of my entire booked stay, even If I were to leave. I have never been treated so poorly and yelled at by a grown man. As a young woman I felt extremely uncomfortable with how he spoke to me and the way I was treated. The whole experience ruined my stay in Winnipeg. I did not receive a single apology from the manager/ owner. Please do not support this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel in January of 2023, and was very happy with the whole experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was quite nice. Beds were comfy and the hot breakfast was very enjoyable each of the 3 mornings that I stayed there. The hotel location makes it easy to get access to main routes of the city, and parking was very accessible. I was able to see my vehicle from the room's window which was nice. For the price I payed, I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay, and I would definitely stay there again. Thankyou for the great service!
First of all, it's a 2-star Inn, so you shouldn't expect more than that. I stayed 3 nights at this Inn in fall 2022. Room was nice & bed was very comfy and pillows were also great. Nice and friendly staff. There was one problem and a few things need to be considered. Vanity sink was clogged and they know about this but didn't try to fix it. For breakfast, they are using manufactured eggs and potatoes and just reheat them in the kitchen. Manufactured eggs are not healthy because of lots of added preservatives and totally tasteless. One day the milk in the thermo was totally spoiled. There was no cheese or butter but there was margarine. Single served peanut butter and jams were available but I am expecting they were at the end of their best before date use if not passed the date. Comparing with other cities, $100 per night in fall was expensive to me. With this price, I was expecting to have at least a 3-star hotel experience and not a 2-star Inn.
We always stay at the comfort inn when we stay in Winnipeg. Really friendly people who are always willing to help. The rooms are nice and clean and they always give us extra coffee. Get a king suite in the annex.Rooms: 5/5
Rooms were clean but dated. No elevator. Breakfast and coffee were nothing special. Had some confusion with billing but was straightened out. I'd say it was an okay stay but nothing great.Rooms: 3/5
It’s very much a get what you pay for situation but the customer service is unmatched, the manager was really friendly and helpful after our room had a strong “smoke” smell even though there wasn’t any other rooms available that night. Would come back again
By far the nicest comfort inn in Canada. Super friendly staff too. Great location. Could not complain about a single thing. Thanks for the hospitalityRooms: 5/5
We stayed one night during our way to Calgary . Our room was very clean and service was very good . We refreshed efficiently at hotel to continue our road trip
