Comfort Inn Laval

Stayed here while I was having surgery. The woman at the front desk was super helpful. on December 20th, in the evening she helped me with Uber eats because I don’t speak French, and even called them back to talk to the driver for me to help get him to the right place.nThe bathtub was very comfortable, and the pillows were great too.nAll around it was a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone needing to stay in the area.

A little awkward to get to on the highway, and the pull out bed was a bit hard to open because of positioning. However, the service was spot on, and the new room had plenty of space and was super comfortable. Meriam, behind the desk, was a delight to talk to, courteous, friendly, and helpful.nnThe continental breakfast is one of the nicer ones I've seen.

Low noise from roadways despite its proximity to the Autoroute, however the space that was used as a wedding/reception space was ungodly loud for trying to sleep before my surgery a few weeks ago. If they were to add sound proofing to the doors, that alone would make the rooms near there a lot more agreeable. The breakfast was great, though their bag breakfasts had delicious muffins that their in-person breakfast did not. Similarly, their in person breakfast was low in fruit options. The in-person breakfast did have delicious eggs and pastries, though. They have standard hotel rooms, nothing fancy or unique, but perfectly suitable for a night or two's stay. Google listing this as a two star hotel feels unreasonably harsh. I would say this place deserves 3 stars at the very least.

My brother and I came here because he was having surgery and were given a 1-bed room. When I asked if we could upgrade to a 2-bed room, I was told there were none available. However, a very quick Google search showed that I could book a 2-bed room online for the same night.nnThe pull-out couch I was given was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on, and trust me, I've stayed in my fair share of cheap motels before. The room smelt awful, and when I asked for a blanket and pillows for the pull-out couch, I was told that they didn't have anynnOverall, terrible experience. I'm going to sleep horribly over the next three nights.

After a long day of traveling Jennifer was an incredible help , she was so helpful and kind and an absolute delight to work with and have everything accommodated while being there for a surgery !nnThank you Jennifer !!
