CIBC Branch with ATM

Great staff. Ideal central location. Great US$ option for deposits and withdrawals, which I am using. Took me about 30 seconds to withdraw US dollars for a trip using CIBC's US$ bank machine (the middle one). I love the photo image technology for deposits, as opposed to the old envelope system, which has saved me time and money in photocopying cheque payments prior to making deposits. CIBC is on the leading edge of banking service in my opinion.

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. Went in for a simple transaction, get American money for our trip to the States. I was 3rd in line at the teller. Why on earth on a Thursday afternoon around 5:00PM of a long weekend would you only have 1 teller working the counter?? There was 9 people waiting behind me (I counted)! And still only 1 teller!! While there was other banking people present, they all seemed to preoccupied talking to each other to give the one poor teller a hand at the counter with all the people in the line up! Then on top of that, not once did the greeter mention that CIBC's system was down, and that if any of us need money, we would have to use the ATM. Possibly one of the worst customer experiences that I've had. Except for the lady at the teller who was very kind and polite and actually apologized for the wait and for the system being down. All in all I waited just over 15mins in the line only to be told I would have to use the ATM. Not impressed CIBC...

I just had to make a few changes to my accounts and I was helped very quickly and professionally. The rep who helped me even gave me some honest advice that I'm sure isn't good for CIBC in the short term but definitely inspired some trust for the next time. The building is very nice too.

Awful location. Why they ruined two perfectly good locations, Marshall Rd and West Oaks, to create to awful locations, this one and the Sumas Way fiasco is beyond me.

Staff are always friendly and great to deal with. CIBC always creates a personal connection. Location wise it is very ideal with lots of parking and it is a brand new building with very nice details. Definitely one of the best branches I have been to.
