Chop Steakhouse & Bar

Wife and I make annual trip to Sheraton Airport for tax convention and make a point of going here for dinner on Friday night. Food is always great, sometimes service is slow because of crowds. This past visit, there was a slight mix up with service and we contacted them. They bent over backwards to apologize for something minor, they will use it as a learning tool. The owner called us twice to fully understand what happened and was more than generous. To them, every customer must be completely satisfied. Why can't every business be run like that ? Nov 2017 made another annual visit. Four of us went after gruelling all day conference and although it was a busy Sat night, we enjoyed ourselves. We could carry on conversation without shouting, beer was cold and large size, food (tenderloin) was good as usual. Will continue to visit on my Toronto trips.

Large group so we shared nibbles to start. The steak bites and crab cakes were amazing! Also tried the lobster and vegetable tempura. Main was a perfectly cooked tuna steak with lovely creamy mash. Well looked after by the staff also.

Once again, an amazing experience at Chop! From the first greeting upon arrival, to Sean and others for the great service, and the perfectly prepared meals for the 5 of us! Thanks to Dylan and Matt for their help as well! Cheers and Merry Christmas!

There are only three places in the city I would have gone to for steaks and now this location makes it four. Steaks were prepared perfectly. One of the rare places that makes a perfect gin and tonic, and they use a craft gin which is rare. Great service from staff.

I've been to this restaurant more times than I can count. The consistency is excellent, never one miss. The prices are good, the ambiance is wonderful, the service is top notch. The only downside is that they do not know how to make a good espresso.
