Very good restaurant, great food and good ambience for any occasion! I’ve been visiting this place either for business meal or personal dine out and it was great every time!nnI love their calamari with shrimp appetizer, this is probably the best version of fried calamari dish that you could have anywhere! I also love their tuna poke bowl, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too if you like raw tuna dishes.nnFinally, they upgraded their choices of drinks, and the summer patio is very nice when weather allows, even in shoulder seasons, as it is fully enclosed. In any case, great place to visit for any occasion!

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the servers were genuinely friendly - they are very well laid out to handle special occasions in addition to regular walk-ins and every detail of the meal experience was handled perfectly.nnIt's not often I have my glass filled through the meal, or that the server checks in more than once to ensure a smooth evening on a weekend.nnThe food quality was also great - fresh tuna, crisp lettuce, and teriyaki sauce that was incredibly flavourful.nnI will definitely keep this Moxie's on my list when I'm visiting the area.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Moxie's Bar & Grill, and overall it was a wonderful experience.nFrom the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. My group was accommodated with ease, and the atmosphere was lively, inviting, and impeccably clean. The restaurant has a vibrant energy that makes it a great place to gather with friends and family.nThe food was absolutely spectacular. I started with the Spicy Tuna Rolls and a glass of Jackson-Triggs Cabernet, both of which were excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl but substituted the tuna for Cajun-spiced salmon, and it was delicious. To finish the evening, I enjoyed the White Chocolate Brownie for dessert, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.nThe only area where there was room for improvement was with our server. She was very sweet, polite, and eager to help, but she appeared to be relatively new and lacked some of the confidence and product knowledge that comes with experience. Several questions required her to seek answers from other team members. While this was never a problem and she remained professional throughout, a more seasoned server may have enhanced the overall experience.nAdditionally, our group mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, and there was an opportunity to create a more personalized guest experience that wasn't fully explored. This wasn't a major issue, but it felt like a missed opportunity to make a special occasion feel even more memorable.nThat said, the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the hospitality of the staff far outweighed any minor shortcomings. Moxie's continues to be one of my favorite places to dine, and I will gladly return again and again.nHighly recommended.

I feel like this is a nice upscale restaurant, no babies crying every 5 minutes, although nothing is wrong with that. Anyhow their drink menu = Amazing. Soup menu= clam chowder, lol. How is that the only soup? The staff here is very attentive, everyone clearly takes care of themselves so you really feel classy here. The food was great but nothing unique just your typical wing, steak and burger menu with some fish options but I guess the magic is in customization and of course you could always get a salad. We all enjoyed what we got the aesthetics of the place was top notch and they offered us the ability to take pictures at the door, not sure if that was a mother's day thing or if they do that every weekend but a nice touch.nnWe all had the ice cream brownie for dessert no pic

My family and I came here tonight for our belated Mother’s Day celebration and I could say that we had an amazing time! We had a very friendly and excellent server named Halle and I must say that she is really passionate with the work she does because it felt like we were treated with VIP service at Moxies in Dixon. The food was excellent and I enjoyed especially the Blackened Mahi mahi that I ordered. The Chimichuri steak salad that was recommended by Halle was quite delicious! The other stuff that we ordered are the Chipotle Chicken Mango and Rib Eye steak were pretty excellent! The lettuce wraps with chicken are quite delightful! I can say that this Restaurant is quite good with delicious meals and excellent service. We’re definitely coming back to this restaurant for sure!
