A French Quarter Style Coffee House with Cajun New Orleans favorite dishes, vegetarian dishes, baked pastas, sandwiches, gelato and catering.

Story

Fresh homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked pastas in a comfy setting. A full bar featuring craft beers, nice wines and specialty drinks.

Chicory Cafe invites you to a relaxed atmosphere with jazz, blues, and a little zydeco and space to discuss the world events surrounding you or indulge in reading newspapers or books at your leisure. Enjoy specialty food items fundamental in New Orleans, but new to the Midwest, such as beignets, muffulettas, jambalaya, po' boy sandwiches, Crawfish Mac and Cheese, and Roasted Garlic Alfredo.

Be sure to try our catering services. Delivery is available. Free delivery in downtown South Bend with any order over $100. Our catering is perfect for business breakfasts and lunches, graduation parties, house parties, family reunions, and any event that you want some great food at. I love Chicory. If parking were easier, I would stop here much more often. Great coffee, lattes, as well as a great food selection. I have always enjoyed the food quite a bit; lots of choices, and always very good. Healthy options are nice. They have apps and little snacky options too which is nice. The service here is wonderful - I have always gotten great friendly service which is great.

Great coffee options. Soups, sandwiches, and entrees are good as well. Nice staff. Live music. Once the afternoon rolls around (or morning, if you're succeeding at life to the fullest) there's craft beer options. Plenty of seating and for the road warriors, WiFi. Pretty much everything you need in a cafe.

LOVE! Chicory is has a great relaxing atmosphere. They have games for times when you want to get off your phone and just connect. Food is flavorful and makes it difficult to not ask for seconds. My friend who went to New Orleans and had beignets said Chicory taste exactly the same. So yummy!

I am a well travelled lover of cuisine, and I have just experienced the most incredible bowl of Jambalaya that I have ever had in my 50 years of living. The food is affordable, well priced, but is rich and hearty and abslutely bursting with flavor and love! Authenticity lies within the food and friendly atmosohere and service. The staff really made me feel like I was already home. A welcomed relief for a weary patron. For the next few days that I have to be in the area, every meal I eat, will be at the Chicory Cafe! Where they have "BREAKFAST ALL DAY!" AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! AND FOOD THAT IS NOTHING SHORT OF DIVINE. -

Awesome food! I got the crawfish mac and cheese and loved it. It's a cute little place with lots of options.
