Casablanca

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating; Casablanca demands our attention- from soups that remind you of a grandmother you wish you had...to tender meat that slides off bone begging to be savored. This place is one of the nicest things about Ypsilanti, and certainly one of the nicest things about life. - A happy Morrocan

I can't express how much we like this place. The staff are great and attentive. Our usual waiter remembered our usual order after a 6 month absence. The food is of a quality I associate with very expensive Ann Arbor restaurants, but the price is actually extremely reasonable. The moroccan mint tea is my favorite tea ever. Ever thing I've had here has been wonderful, and that quality has been maintained over a dozen visits at least. This place is a gem!

AMAZING FOOD. I tried lamb for the first (and second) time here. It was absolutely fabulous. Tender, juicy, and the raisins complemented the dish very well. The baba ganoush is worth every penny and the house made bread just puts this place as my favorite restaurant in town.

I like how kind the staff is, how much they wish to please and like their food too. I hear that my food expectations are higher than are reasonable. I also recognize a good food value when I find it. I liked what I ate. My wife liked what she ate. I'm going to return and look for a couple or few gems hoping they will keep me returning. We found that each entree is easily enough to serve two adult appetites. The entrees were in the upper teens. At least than $10 per serving, I think Casablanca has a winner!

This was an unexpected surprise. Food was amazing, especially the garlic sauce and creamy hummus with fresh bread appetizers. We shared a dish for two and it was plenty of food. Highly recommended.
