The Golden Egg

So glad I ate here! First time and I got the Lumberjack omelet. Everything was delicious, the cook was very friendly and so was the staff! Coffee was never empty. Really enjoy these nice family restaurants when I travel because it makes me feel like I’m home. If I’m ever back in this area, I will definitely eat here again! Thank you

The owners are very attentive and keep people and food moving quickly. Stay even if there a line - you'll get a seat pretty soon. Food is good, employees are upbeat and it's an overall good experience for some quick and good food.

A wonderful place! Great food, casual, fast, and friendly staff! My girlfriend introduced me to The Golden Egg and it's our favorite local diner! Since it's family owned, the atmosphere is wonderful. The waitresses and cooks are always laughing and chatting with each other and the customers. The food is delicious (my favorite is the Reuben) and reasonably priced. They are very family friendly and welcoming. The wait is rarely longer than 10 or 15 minutes even at the busiest times. This is a wonderful, local, family owned restaurant!

The staff here has always been so, so kind. The fact that they a cohesive and friendly team is evident in the service provided. Prices are really fair and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is pretty busy on weekend mornings so we find that the best exerpience is before or after the breakfast crowd. So far, this is one of our favorite family breakfast spots in the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area!

Popular local place that has good taste food. Good breakfast menu and other dishes. Not open for dinner
