Big Boy

The weekend deluxe breakfast bar is fantastic! You can get all your favorites. I snapped these photos just after it was set up this past weekend. The food is so tasty, and I like I can control my carbs. If I want just 1 biscuit or pancake, that's ok. The staff are hard working and friendly. I do think the morning crew are better than night. Classic diner food and breakfast are what's available at other times. I also want to advise everyone that there's false info going around that this place is racist. There was an old post from about 2016 that got RETRACTED that keeps popping up. There are many people of color working here including as management! The restaurant was even sold to an immigrant and management changed since then. So don't just believe a random undated post.

We have been driving an extra 15 min to eat at this establishment. It has been consistently clean!! The food has been amazing and the salad bar has been kept up extremely well. Also food has been very fresh! I am extremely pleased with the service and the amount of TEAM work they use! When we walked in all eyes went to the door and when the cook saw that we had not been greeted only there for a second she came up and sat us! Awesome job everyone!!!

We came in 30 minutes before closing 8:30pmand no one complained or gave us dirty looks. We were treated as if we came in at any other time. Our service was great and the place was very clean. They even left the salad bar open for my companion. My only criticism is that the prices are too high. I'd definitely recommend this Big Boy to anyone.

Lunch was perfect today. I was greeted by two or three people as soon as I walked in the door. One of the staff guided me to a table that met the criteria that I needed. We ordered from the menu And the food came very promptly and was perfect. My favorite is the extensive soup and salad bar. There are about four soups each day and a continuously replenished salad bar. The prices are reasonable. And I think it is very nice place to go for either dinner or lunch. I have never been there for breakfast oh, but they also had an extensive breakfast menu.

I eat here with my kids and we love it! The servers are fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. The food is great! I love how they are always adding new things to the menu. The bacon mac n cheese is really good! The food bar is always clean and fresh.

They discriminate against people who work for them that have a metal challenge. The new owners Fired someone I know because he sweat's to much. A good waiter. His medicine causes sweating, he is a great worker and very conscious about his condition. He works hard. The new owners, also own tower inn pizza, didn't give him hours, kept him on call. Or on a scheduled day, wait until he got to work, then told him he wasn't needed that day. He rides the city bus!. They should have called him. Not nice!! I will not return. And it's a shame, I loved the old owner. She knew how to run a business, and how to treat employee's.

The staff were awesome and very friendly. I was with several people and we tried the buffet. It was okay for the most part love the bacon. However everything else was either a bit dry or it look like it's been sitting out there for a little while including the salad and some of the fruit. If the food is fresh and hot then it was okay. Maybe they should upgrade their menu to include other items for breakfast. Overall its ok.

Good service, but food was just a step up from fast food. Comparing this Big Boy to others in the area, you're going to get a better meal and experience from the Livonia one. Too bad they closed the one by Plum Market off of Plymouth a few miles north. That one was much better in every way.

Absolutely Disgusting as the kid at the table next to us was barfing! And the waitress changed us a 18% gratuity for 8 and the baby was 1 of the people and he is 4 mo. Old and did not eat. For me that was good cause I always leave more than a 3.00 tip on a 20.00 bill.

Ok so I ordered pie and this was the best pie in the world the service was nice and the food here is delicious! When I was 4/5 I used to come here all the time with my dad and we would always order a hot fudge sundae and it was so good that I would always beg my dad if we can come here again tomorrow. He always said yes.
