I purchased my wedding dress from Camellia's for this past September. The original service while I was choosing a gown was very good - the sales person was very attentive and helpful. However, the issues started when the gown arrived. Despite my measurements being taken, the dress did not fit at all. I was warned of this and the staff assured me that they would be able to make the dress fit beautifully. After a very long time and just a month before the wedding the alterations were completed. I went in for a final fitting and nothing fitted right. The measurements had been taken wrong and the dress was too tight in some areas and too large in others. Now I admit, it was my fault for not taking the dress to a third party seamstress in the first place, but what upset me, and why I am writing this bad review, was the way I was treated when I expressed concern about the fit of the dress. I was told that the dress was fine and that is was my body that was the issue, that I was too large in the chest and that was the way the dress was 'supposed to fit'. Now I am not that large, I am a size 12 and this was after losing almost 20 lbs before the wedding too! When I took the dress to a seamstress she assured me that the dress had been improperly altered and it had been taken in far too much. The straps that had been added were also incorrectly placed. I was very disappointed not only from the shoddy workmanship but also the attitude of the staff who had little sensitivity to women who are a little larger in the chest. I feel like they only care about the sale at Camellia's and not if the bride is happy with their dress.

Amazing store, full of stunning dresses, and most importantly, a passionate crew who are very attentive and love helping you pick the right dress, and once selected, they would make sure that dress fits you beautifully and looks gorgeous for your special day! A big THANK YOU to Wendy! You are awesome! Thank you for your patience and great smile! I highly recommend Camellia Wedding Gown to all the Brides-to-be out there!

Camellia have way more good bridal gown options than other bridal stores! They were very accommodating to my time frame as I did last minute bridal gown shopping! Customer service was amazing, and their manager Shoan was exceptional at helping me pick, alter and fix my gown! I would recommend every bride to first go check Camellia!

I was looking for a second wedding dress for reception. I called Camellia bridal before my consultation. I was extremely specific with the consultant on the phone: size 14 (18-20 wedding size), and a budget of under $1200 (given the fact I had spent $3500 on my true bridal gown). The girl kept saying "yes we have stock for you!!" I kept asking if they are sure they could accommodate me, despite my size and budget. I was given wishy washy answers, went to my appointment. Upon arrival, 8 reiterated what I had told the consultant on the phone. She brought me to sample "on sale" off the rack dresses. Nothing was within my budget or size. very dissapointing experience. I walked out within 10 mins as I was only told once in the store the price range was 3,000 to 7,000. Total waste of time and demoralizing experience. Do not recommend.

Thank you Camellia for helping me with my wedding dress! I tried six different wedding dress boutique in Toronto and finally decided my dream wedding dress in Camellia! They got lots of beautiful collection from Pronovias, Enzoani and Badgeley Mischca. Shuman and Wendy provided me so many suggestions and they knew exactly what I want! Looking forward to my wedding dress ready next June!
