Calgary Gymnastics Centre

The facility is beautiful and well equipped. However we had bad experience here which I have to withdraw my child after the first month.I would rather pay for the full year insurance and membership fee for only 4 classes instead of continuing with them. On the very first class, I was told to have my 4.5 year old joining the infant parenting class because she was the only one attending that day. I refused and the coach was not very happy about that. On the 4th class, I was told the class was intended to cancel because she was the only one attending again.I didn’t receive the call which was made only 1 hour before the class so they have to take my daughter in.The coach for her class was not professional. She sits whenever she get chance during the class. We can hear the coach from infant class .She is so passionate and professional but my daughter’s coach, you can never hear her voice and barely see smile on her face. I don’t know what’s going on in that young lady’s life but this is not what we expect from a gym class. I would suggest pick your coach before registering your child or try a drop in first.

My 3 year old daughter love coming here for gymnastics. We just started 2 months ago. I have to say the coaches here are very good and friendly. She can’t wait to start again in the fall time

I almost never share negative reviews BUT because i was horribly verbally abused by one of their staff members over the phone I will absolutely say that I am not comfortable sending my child here in the future. We moved out of the city when we moved i lost my wallet and had to get new cards. I received a call from them over my cards not processing which I said I would update and pay even though we aren't going to attend anymore for this month because I missed the 20th cut off to end enrollment. The entire interaction she talked down to me and by the end of the conversation she was yelling at me and talking over me. The only saving grace about this center is the coaches and the friendships my daughter made.

My daughter really loves this place. We’ve completed 3 semesters/sessions here now. It’s all new equipment and the whole place is very clean. I love the open layout how parents can sit surrounding the gym area to watch. The gymnastics studio we joined prior to this one had the sitting area closed off from the gym and if you wanted to watch your kid then you had to stand and watch them through a window. My daughter has liked all 3 coaches she’s had here. I found them to be very enthusiastic and they appear to really love their jobs. Most importantly they teach at an age appropriate level and make it fun! She also really likes the hand stamps and colouring sheet they give her at the end of class. The only downside so far is they gave a paper certificate of completion this time instead of giving out a ribbon. Hopefully they bring the ribbons back.

My daughter did the mini camps this summer and loved it. The July session, her coach was awesome fun and friendly, 5-star for that coach. The August session, she had a different coach and I would rate her a 3-star because she wasn't as friendly. She seemed to pay attention to certain 2 children in her class maybe her friends' kids or family members? and didn't care too much for the rest. Facility is great. There's an open area for parents/younger sibblings to hangout while waiting. I'm registering my child again for the fall as she loves gymnastics and almost all of the coaches there are so fun and friendly.

Amazing place to learn and develop new skills. For the more advanced it's a great place to practice.

My daughter absolutely loves The Calgary Gymnastics Centre. She did a parented class last year at 3 and is doing her first unparented this year at 4. The coaches are amazing with the kids and I can really see the progress that she’s making. The facility is clean, bright and has great seating for parents to watch. I haven’t had any experience with the other coaches, but Andrea and Spencer are phenomenal. We will continue to come to this gym for as long as my daughter wants to do gymnastics.

My daughter loves this place. This is her second year how she attends gymnastics classes. Last summer she was almost every week in summer camp and she went to winter camp during the previous winter break. And she also celebrated her 7th birthday. I think that this tells enough how we feel about this place. Coaches are very professional and super fun for the kids. I highly recommend

I really enjoyed visiting Calgary Gymnastics Centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. my children love coach Amy, she always brightens their days. Nothing but good memories have been made there, I highly recommend

I enrolled my 4 yr old in a gymnastic class here. The coaches are so great and cheerful and it’s such a clean and spacious facility. We can hang out after and have a snack too. Love it here!
