Cairo Kebab

YUM! So good & good value. Ordered the chicken kebab sandwich and a small cucumber salad which was perfect as a topping for the wraps my friend and I ordered. Ambiance was kind of whatever… good for a fast casual kind of vibe or for lunch!

Good Arabic food at reasonable prices. I'll definitely come again. I was so glad there was an Arabic place so close to an event I was at and open so late too. The atomsphere was great, nice soothing classical Arabic music was playing. Reminded me of my childhood. They were very accommodating and friendly, I got my food to go. They offered me utensils/napkins but as I was going straight home to eat I didn't need them. The maamoul cookies on the counter were so cute. And the design of the restaurant inside was interesting. As I am Syrian, I'm not used to the Egyptian style of stuffed grape leaves, but it was an interesting experience. The lamb was seasoned very well, you can taste the smokiness of the fire in it.

This place is so great. Nice ambiance and cool classic 90s Middleeastern music. We started with hummus and authentic Egyptian stuffed grape leaves. I tried kushari many times in different places but it tastes exceptionally great here. The falafel was divine. Mixed Cairo grill is a must here. Don’t forget to wrap up with a cup of tea. Ahmad is so kind and considerate. Def will be here again soon.

Delicious Mediterranean food! I was craving a ful mudamas for a long time and theirs was very tasty! Everything was good from the vegetarian plate to the shawarma! We will definitely come back to try out more of their plates!

Simply incredible Koshari, leagues ahead of any Koshari I've had on this side of the Atlantic. The restaurant itself is just lovely on the inside, with a very authentically Egyptian interior. We always order our Koshari via food apps but honestly it's so much better having it at the restaurant, especially that we get to pour Dakka on it, and the fried onion is nice and crispy. 5*

Everything we ordered here was good and super fresh! The manager Ahmed was very thoughtful, nice and has reassuring smile. The place was clean and has this middle Eastern vibes. We ordered to go because we were in a hurry that day. When we got home and tried all the food, Ohmygosh!! Super Yummy, and mouth watering! We will definitely come back here! I love the Baklavas and the cookies with dates! I love all the food we ordered here, just thinking about it makes me hungry again. The freshly made hummus is for the win! The Combo Kebab got all the flavors I wanted to try. The lamb kebab was very delicious and no after taste, it was properly prepared and seasoned well. We will definitely come back! Best Egyptian food! Remind me of all the good food in Egypt Highly recommend it.

We were visiting from NY and stayed in Lincoln park and this was nearby and the reviews looked good so we decided to try it. We had the chicken Shwarma and the chicken was dry and hard. Overall did not like it at all except the side house salad we got was fresh. Not one table on a Saturday night either. Wouldn’t recommend plenty of other better options

Food is very good and large portions. Got two entree’s, large jer. Salad, and falafel side order. It was enough to feed 4-5 people and ordered for 2 people. Also was told 20 minutes until pick up, I showed up in 10 min and it was already done. 5 stars!

My wife and I were on our road trip to SD, stopped by the city for couple of days on each way. We checked out that place and had dinner there twice, once on each way of our trip. The food is great, so tasty with good portions. The staff and server are very friendly and so kind. I have asked about some sweet place near by to purchase some Middle Easter sweets, the owner Mohamad politely assisted me to find a place, but advised me it is late of the day and the place will be closed by the time I get there. He went far and beyond and offered us a nice good size pack of mixed Middle Easter sweet on the place. He refused to get paid for it, I have tired hard, but he was so kind did not want to get paid for it. All due respect to that place and the staff, one of the best I ever came across. Will definitely be back whenever I will be in that area, highly recommended. Thank you Mohamad and the hoster for the beautiful experience.
