This is a real feast! Authentic Kurdish cuisine served in a touch of style. Everything is so delicious. We tried two different styles of lentil soups and appetizer platter. Also had plenty of meat. All succulent and delicious! There is also a decent selection of seafood and vegetarian plates. Last but definitely not least, finish your meal with freshly brewed blend of black tea. Thanks to all friendly staff of Gundis!!!
Upon entering the restaurant, you’re immediately greeted with a gracious hostess. When we arrived, there was no wait which is great! Our waiter was prompt in greeting us and providing us with water and taking drink orders. Shortly after, we placed our order for the Kurdish breakfast for 2. The food came out quickly and was fresh. The best part was that it was delicious! There is a variety of options to try. The portion size is huge and could probably feed 3-4 people. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its service and unique breakfast options. It also caters to many dietary restrictions. We would come again!
Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Loved the appetizer sampler. Veggie stew was good, but not amazing. Would probably order another main dish next time. Super friendly service and nice vibes inside. I’ll definitely be back.
Wow, just wow. This place was great. Incredible service, food and attitude. I arrived an hour before closing and in my mind, I thought I would be rushed out. Instead I was greeted with an welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. My wife doesn’t eat lamb but she enjoyed the shank as well. The octopus was tender and the stuff chicken was unbelievable. To end the night the cookies was incredible. The sever was so attentive and he even ask if we wanted some additional Aujus gravy with the Mesopotamia. We dipped bread in and it was so good. The server didn’t have to do it but he did and what a great suggestion. All around great time.
we came in for dinner and had a LOVELY time. the servers are kind. salad was amazing — had a bright dressing that i couldn’t place but loved. the chicken was moist with a slightly spicy sauce that i loved. and there were cookies and tea for dessert! will def come back, next time to try the brunch!Recommended dishesStuffed Chicken, Mountain Salad
Having had many Kurdish breakfasts in Kurdistan, I consider myself to have high standards. This place easily met and exceeded those expectations! The food was amazing! I loved all the cheeses, jams/spreads, and egg scramble that came with the breakfast. Kurdish tea served in my favorite Kurdish tea cups just made the experience even more perfect. Highly recommend!
Nice place to have brunch. It is Turkish/Kurdish restaurant. We got the Gundis Breakfast Choice which comes in breakfast tray with different choices It was lovely place with friendly staff. The decorations is simple. The food taste is good
Very good food, extremely nice and friendly staff. I took off one star because the restroom was not of the same level as everything else and because it was pricey for the vibe you get. You pay like a $$$ but feel like a $$. But, it's certainly worth trying and the everyone is genuinely nice.
I went for Saturday brunch, we had the lamb scramble with fries and fruit and the apple cinnamon pancake which were delicious. It was busy since it was Saturday but it wasn’t too loud. The food was so unique, I can’t wait to go back and try more.
Must try their Halloumi Cheese salad and Chicken Shish wrap! Also their coffee & tea was great! Cucumber lemonade was also very refreshing. A little pricey but delicious experience!
