This place was on my list for a while, every time our plan couldn't work out but finally I happened to visit Aba during the restaurant week for brunch. Also, their reservations are always full. The ambiance undoubtedly is lovely. I love the decor of this place. We got an outdoor table in the heated rooftop patio but I loved the inside area more. The food was pretty good. The kebab and rice was delicious. I loved their complimentary bread the most. It just never stopped coming. The cocktails weren't very alcoholic but delicious. Due to restaurant week, we just paid 25 pp+Taxes and it was 100% worth it.
Went to Aba for happy hour on Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Enjoyed my $7 wine smooth with deep note. We also shared a plate of grilled cauliflower which was delicious and beautifully charred. Would definitely come back here for a proper dinner. Drinks and cocktails are not quite the highlights of our experience. Regardless the place is absolutely adorable and I love their lounge area!
As a Real Estate Broker, I pride myself in knowing what my community has to offer. Aba is a wonderful dining experience! The small plates are packed with decadent texture and flavor. The ambiance feels luxurious. We reserved an indoor table but the glorious fall evening begged for roof-top seating, which the staff were willing to accommodate. We had a wonderful evening with out-of-town friends feasting, drinking and laughing. Thank you Aba for helping us show them a great time!
This place is beautiful!!! We really wanted to be seated on the patio area but found sitting inside very pleasant with various lighting and decor. Not to mention the food! The dishes were all shareable and delicious along with outstanding bread!! It was suggested that each person order a couple of dishes to share which was provided each of us more than enough to eat. Dine here and just enjoy the experience. Simply marvelous!!!
The restaurant is so cute and even when it's busy it's not too loud which is really nice. We have to make reservations a while in advance for a large party but it seems like you can usually get a spot inside for a party of 2 without a reservation. The service was really good although it took them a while to seat us even with a reservation! The food was delicious!! We shared the eggplant spread ask for more pita, it's delicious! and I got the Kefta and eggs. It was really heavy and can definitely be split between two people. The pistachio cake was also amazing!
Phenomenal restaurant!! We got six different dishes and all were amazing. Top 2 dishes were the Chicken Kefta and the pistachio orange cake. Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a try, but make sure you get a reservation.
The short rib hummus is impressive! Those breads are really soft they are perfect with those hummus. The grilled chicken is a little dry, eggplant spread doesn’t really taste like eggplants. But it is such a cute restaurant, those plants, lights and decoration are great for a Saturday girls brunch
I enjoyed a very nice meal at the bar here. The ambiance is very chill. I would love to come back for dinner out on the rooftop/patio. We ordered the shortrib hummus, whipped feta, braised shortribs, crispy potatoes and frozen Greek yogurt. Everything was very good- well seasoned, great flavor and cooked appropriately. The service was wonderful and despite being busy, walking into the bar was not difficult and we did not have a long wait for anything.
Ambience is just right for a night out. Note, two tops felt awkwardly placed but could have been the seating gods were not with me that night. Food was so delicious. The short rib hummus is a must order along with the black truffle orzo. You will not be disappointed. Trust me! Brussel sprouts with the balsamic are winners too. And don't skip dessert. Nice date night locale or night out with the girls.
One of our go-to places for brunch. I recommend reserving your table before hand. They have both indoor and outdoor closed and heated during winter seating. Indoor is definitely instagram worthy. Recommend patio seating in summers if you have a bigger group, good skyline views. Their Chicago Restaurant week brunch menu is a steal for $25. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, vibe and the service.
