Story

Since the official opening in October of 2002 we have made it our mission to provide wholesome foods prepared with the finest ingredients, as you would in your own home.

At Café 349 we serve fresh and often home-grown ingredients in stylish presentations of robust proportions.


We offer a full menu along with ever-changing “featured lunches” designed to tempt your tastebuds.

The combination of delicious homemade food and hand-crafted artwork creates a dining experience which is in perfect harmony with the café’s tranquil atmosphere and inviting décor. We are continuously attempting to improve and expand on what we have to offer our customers.

The soup of the day was delicious and the fettuccine Alfredo was perfect for the kids, the sandwich was incredible, this is a sweet place in Shawville!
My wife and I recently had a fantastic lunch at Café 349 on a lovely rainy Saturday while in town. The service was incredibly friendly and professional, and the food—absolutely excellent.nnWe enjoyed the tuna melt, egg salad sandwich, and the apple and sweet potato soup—all fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference!nnWe also grabbed two muffins to go: rhubarb oat and banana chocolate chip. They were huge, fresh, and delicious.nnWe’re already looking forward to coming back during our visits throughout the summer and fall to try more from the menu. Thank you to the whole Café 349 team!
10/10 perfect little café worth a day trip to Shawville! The food was excellent, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the attention to detail is evident in the handmade local menu and charming table settings. Great espresso. Price was spot on.
We drove from North Gower, Ontario to Luskville and found this amazing restaurant. Classic, beautiful decor and comfortable. Food was amazing with loads of flavor. Soup and sandwich was a full meal. Next time I will go for half sandwich and soup. Sandwiches are man size. Multigrain is the way to go. Desserts are large generous portions and taste amazing. Lemon shortbread tart and peanut butter cheese cake are worth the drive alone. I'm sorry that this Cafe 349 is a two hour drive from where I live. Amazing food. Ladies, load up your girlfriends and create an adventure trip to Luskville for a day trip. They also have a little gift shop. Enjoy the adventure.nHilda & JoannNorth Gower and Kars, ON
