Wonderful selection of pastries, donuts and other treats. Good service and excellent presentation of the many choices. The brownie was delicious, but I was disappointed with the chocolate chip cookies I think the use of shortening instead of butter, and milk chocolate chip instead of semi sweet lessened the flavour quality and banana split cupcake not real whipped cream and artificial banana flavouring. I hear the donuts are one of their specialties so next time I'll try those. A fun diversion on your way to and from Norway Bay.

Moved here recently fron Ontario and got a temp job around the corner from the bakery. People rave about it so I went. So glad I did... everything was great, the store is clean and the staff are warm and welcoming. Definitely a must go if you are in the area!

I am in love with Pontiac Home Bakery. It's a jewel, a perfect little small town bakery in the little town of Shawville. The Saturday morning donuts are the best. The jelly donuts are a five year old's idea of perfection, all jelly goo. So many sweet options at the counter that you'll have a hard time deciding. Price is right too. Don't forget the cranberry loaf or the carrot cake.

Amazing pies, breads, dinner rolls and cheesecake but the very best are the donuts!! The best bakery we’ve ever been to and we keep coming back! Worth the drive from anywhere to try this gem. :

We went a little nuts and tried the doughnuts, eclairs, coconut cream pie and pinwheels. Amazing. We also brought home a meat pie which was also wonderful.

Good selection , but went there for the “Sourdough” bread. It wasn’t sourdough at all . It looked like a sourdough boule , but …….didn’t taste nor have the texture of sourdough. It’s a bit misleading labelling it sourdough. Very disappointing

We tried their doughnuts, red velvet cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful.
