Vibes : 10/10nThis is the place I love most in the city. Studying at the desks here and doodling when I got bored will always be the memories I cherish. I hope they add more power outlets and fix the broken ones though. The librarians are so helpful too.
Good service from everyone. This time they are renovating but you can come. Good activities are in the library that you can register online.nIf you want to print is 5 dollars free getting your library card . Enjoy
Good Staff and great environment. the architect upgrade is very good. Easy to find the available books and library app also works perfectly to put holds and renew the books.
Good library. Well organized and well maintained.nEasy to search and find the books.nThere are computers as well which can be used for browsing. Especially for students.nThere are printers and scanners as well for reasonable price per sheet of paper.nnKids love the place.nNice location.
Recently, I've noticed a significant increase in the number of visitors to the library, which doesn't seem to coincide with student midterm exams, a typically busy period. In the past, arriving before 1pm guaranteed a good spot, but today, arriving just an hour after opening, I struggled to find any available space. This surge in patronage is surprising and reflects a broader trend that's not just limited to Burnaby but perhaps across Canada. It's wonderful to see more people utilizing public resources, though it does present challenges in maintaining the quiet, accessible space we've come to appreciate. Additionally, with the peak in visitor numbers during the afternoon, I've found that the WiFi connectivity significantly suffers, impacting those of us relying on internet access for our work or studies.
