Visited the library today after a long absence of 5-6 years. I was helped by 2 ladies at the service desk. They were friendly & courteous helping me renew my membership & getting a book that I heard of on a recent cruise to Alaska. Marvelous staff & thank you for the excellent work!
Great library with friendly and helpful staff. The library is constantly adding new books to its collection.
Don’ t come if you want peace to study and get your stuff done, staff is not helpful, they have this big Teen section that never gets used, everyone has to just be sitting out there exposed elbow to elbow beside each other , that’s annoying. What’s the point of having this library? Can they remodel it and make it better, never again coming here.
The management of this library seems to not understand that users who come to the library mostly do serious work or study. Users must be able to concentrate with a reasonable degree of quiet. I have sat here for nearly two hours listening to a sizable group of untalented people learning the violin! The noise is loud and obnoxious. This activity must be conducted in an appropriate facility for music performances, not in a library. On my other side is an Indian tutor speaking non-stop and loudly in an effort to teach mathematics to a student who has no aptitude for the subject. Other library users are speaking on their cellphones. In the other corner children are screaming. The noise drives a wise man to insanity and the librarians clearly lack the understanding that a library must be relatively quiet.
This is a wonderful library that gives membership in a minute and staff are super friendly.nnComputers are available for use and printers and scanners too.
