The library is truly impressive, with incredible architecture and many different areas to explore. We especially enjoyed the historical section and the archives, where we spent a lot of time learning about Vancouver and its history.nnThe book collection is extensive and well organized, making it easy to find something interesting to read. There is a great variety of titles, from contemporary bestsellers to historical and academic works.nnThere are plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout the building, and everything is very clean and beautiful. The terrace was particularly nice and a great place to relax.
The library is big and accommodate a lot of books and material for learning and creative ideas. There is section for teens, recording, and meeting booth.nThere are shops inside the building as well as you can have coffee and get your nail done too while you kids do their homework inside library.nArchitecturally it is different and good arrangement. You can ask informs counter if have more questions
Huge library with nine floors and an impressive collection. I absolutely adore the rooftop garden on the ninth floor. The views are amazing. Just the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a hard day of work/study
Impressive library in the downtown area. Has access to all the 9 floors via a lift and also an escalator. Wonderful collection of books. Their “Staircase Sounds” featuring musicians is an immersive program for which we need to register in advance free event. Loved the musical ensemble ‘Fetele din Balkani’ performance on 25/4/26 was immersive. Visit highly recommended and encouraged for all visitors.
Im a sucker for a library while travelling and this is one of my favourites. When I visit Vancouver with someone new, I always take them. I love the art on each of the floors and then the terrace at the top is stunning. Plus the building itself is beautiful. I enjoy visiting the little gift shop on the main floor just outside as well. Lots of cute stuff.
