Too loud for a library. Parents let their kids run wild and the librarians offer no help.

A good sized library with activity rooms larger than the library itself. Every Tuesday and Friday afternoons there is service dog on duty for children t learning to read with the dog.

The place was well lit and spacious. It didn't feel crammed. It was my first time here and I came here to study around 3pm on a Friday which was probably my first mistake. As soon as I got settled and started writing out my lab, children started pouring in loudly (albeit they were having a great time laughing loudly, but it is a library!) complete with slurpees. There were also some people who didn't understand that the library is a quiet space. Someone burped loudly from between the shelves. Was it a monster perhaps? Pair that with really hurried newspaper readers who like to flip pages loudly and the kids, you've got a loud library. When I brought this up to the librarian she answered with a kind "oh is it? With the new renos, the sounds echo more.". She was sweet and was trying to help and asked me who were the main culprits but I feel like this level of noise is normal at this location. It may be better in the morning when the kids are in school but I can't say the same for the public burpers, aggresive page turners, the feet stompers and book bangers. This may be their lair!

Nice and quiet. Not many outlets, but I was able to use the meeting room (with outlets) as nothing was booked in there. Friendly and accommodating.
