Normally I love coming here, but it's incredibly noisy today which is irritating. I don't understand hosting baby and toddler events in an open space where it echoes upstairs, reverberates, and disturbs everyone trying to get work done. Please do better and put them in a closed room with a door. No one wants to listen to infants crying and loud chanting of nursery songs...
This library is really lovely! My daughter enjoys the circle time they do for the kids, it’s super interactive and engaging. I also love how cozy the atmosphere is. It’s a great spot to keep your little one busy, especially on a rainy day.
We go there to the story time on Fridays at 11:15. This fun program's made socializing easy for kids and mums. And the children department's staff are pretty friendly and polite, especially Ms. Fey and Ms. Gen.nThe only thing is about the board books, which are low in variety. It could have been better. Also, most of the other books are old dated. In terms of illustration and story, they're no longer popular!
We love the baby story time at the library. It is so fun and engaging. Ms. Faye and other staff are so great.
I think this is the worst of the NVDPL libraries. You either find street parking which is limited or pay for underground parking which still has super small tight spots where I could barely open the door to my Rav4 to get out.nnThe wifi is weak on my laptop and I couldn't even connect to it on my phone because of an error. Lynn Valley and Edgemont do it better in my opinion. The AC is also weak in the study room.nn3 Stars because it's still in a central location, lots of studying space in the silent room, and I like the space outdoors for eating lunch.
