Just now I shopped at No Frills on Lansdowne. At checkout counter #7, an employee with colorful hair and a black gothic-style necklace charged me $3.57 for three peaches. However, the advertised price was $1.99 per pound. The employee did not appear to know the correct produce code and did not make an effort to ask a colleague for assistance.nnAs a result, I was overcharged. Fortunately, a staff member at the customer service desk a brown girl kindly reviewed the issue and refunded $2.14 to me. I appreciate her help and professionalism.nnI understand that mistakes can happen, but I hope management will ensure that staff are properly trained to verify produce codes and pricing when they are unsure. Customers work hard for their money and expect to be charged accurately. I hope the necessary steps are taken to prevent similar situations from happening in the future.

Good selection, higher prices, but still lower compared to loblaws. However, extremely poor cashier management- I spent more time in line than shopping. Had two Cash open, with 7+ people in each. Won't allow the carts inside the self serve that was also empty. Same experience 2x back to back. I will no longer prioritize this place.

Used to be our go to grocery store.nnLately it’s a complete mess.nnMany empty shelves. Whole sections Moved to mystery places. Many things without prices on the bins or shelves at all.nI get maybe they are doing some sort of Reno/refurb, buts it’s been well over a month and doesn’t look like much has changed in that month.nnIn addition, the traffic light added has made exiting the parking lot a 10-15 minute exercise on weekends.nnLooking forward to the new one at Dundas and bloor. Hopefully it’s better.

We’ve had two different times in the past three months where meat we bought was spoiled. The first was three individually packaged steaks, and the second was a 4-pack of chicken breasts. Both times, we opened the meat the same day we bought it and it was still before the best-before date, but it was clearly off.nWith how expensive groceries are right now, that’s really frustrating. You’re paying a lot and expecting basic quality and safety.nWhat’s even more annoying is the process on the PC app. If you try to report it or get reimbursed with points, they tell you to follow the return policy—which means bringing the spoiled meat back to the store. That’s just not realistic. No one is keeping stinky meat in their fridge or taking it back to the store like that.nOn top of that, the app didn’t even get back to me right away. So what, I’m supposed to just hang onto spoiled meat while I wait in case someone asks for proof?nnOverall, pretty gross and says a lot about their food safety and customer service.

Everything about this store reads like discount grocery, except the prices. Shopping here feels very much like I’m handing my money over to a corporation that cares more about profits than people. No shade on the staff - they are friendly, helpful, and working hard.
