I asked to defer a loan Payne t and it was not done properly. When I left the bank I was assured that it was taken care of. Yesterday the payment was debuted from my account. I am leaving on vacation soon and now this. Tried contacting customer service on the phone and they were not helpful. I am a single parent so a mistake like this weighs heavily in my life. Once my loan is paid off I will not be using the bank of Montreal again. When the bank needs money from a client, they take it without a question. When a bank takes money from a client there is a fight to get it back.
