BMO Bank of Montreal

If you want good straightforward banking, then the tellers make a very pleasant experience. They deserve the five. If you want to phone...give yourself an hour to be on hold or not be addressed properly. If you want to make any changes and or invest..without exorbitant penalties...you are better going with professional investors. However...that being said...they are so much better and more professional than Scotia Bank, who get into your personal life like small town folk with too much time on their hands... At BMO you will get a distant, professional, cold experience, just like many city people in a hurry want.

I would give a zero if I can. Nobody picks the phone up during their open hours, and I left a message three weeks ago, till now i haven't received a callback from them. The trainee definitely needs to be retrained before she handles the customer.

Worse manager ever!!!! Enough said!!! No care for customers wishes and blatantly told me she cant give me my money after they made me sign stating that they were giving it back to me!!! Safe to say im closing my account with bmo!!! Will be advising others to do the same!!!

Wanted to switch an investment to BMO so had to talk to someone on the investor phone line to send papers to this BMO. Sat and waited while service reps ask me why I'm here and then just basically saying they couldn't help so they left me alone. Then I asked another male rep how this could be resolved. He told me to sit and wait to talk to the Branch manager. As I sit and wait (second time in the branch as I am a new customer) why is this so hard. After waiting for another 15 min as the branch manager walked around aimlessly, she grabbed her coat and left for lunch. So once again no one to help. So I went to the counter again and was dismissed by the gentlemen to a customer service rep I hadn't talked to yet. She problem solved and found the papers to sign them. Thanks Janelle or Jenna! I hope that manager re thinks why she is a manager because she did a terrible job as long with most her staff. My opinion would be to find another BMO then this one.

I have been with BMO for over 20 years, and I’m still treated like dirt...I’ve locked myself out of online banking phoned in to get it fixed twice, both times assured me it was okay....still not fixed...I cannot get I line of credit but I haven’t bounced a check in over 20 years, I haven’t had to ask to cover anything but they keep saying nope too bad....not willing to help one bit....I think it’s time to move banks....
