BMO Bank of Montreal

I wish there was option to rate less than 1 star. Worst customer service and teller named "IMRAN" shouldn't be over counter. Gave me wrong information about my own accounts and was taking it so casual. He made my situation more complicated. Never going to this branch again.

BMOneeds to learn about customer service from TD. There are never enough tellers. And when I look around while waiting in the line I see offices with staff sitting. Doesn't take much to jump on the front line and help a few customers. Unfortunately I have to bank here for 1 account. If I had the choice I'd close the account!!

They always have short staff. Staff is not friendly either. Long wait Whenever you visit them. Time to find another bank.

If you want fast, kind, pain free and a courteous experience. Stay away from this place. I have a 10 yr tenure with BMO, never had a bad experience. I deposit a tax check (not my first time) and they want to hold it (first time ever). Said I would come back with proof of the Soft Tron tax assessment. When I return, I again wait another 20mins and get told the same thing by a diff teller. Spoke to the branch manager and gave an ultimatum, "if I have to certify the check from CIBC(soft trons check issuer) I will close my account and open one w/CIBC. It gets verified. Wait another 7-10 mins to deposit the funds and withdraw cash, to where the teller THROWS $1040 worth of money on the table then walks away. No receipt, no asking "is that all". Just LITERALLY THROWS THE MONEY. And walks away. Disgusting. Will be opening an account with a different provider and cease banking with this institution. Disgusting
