Story

The Blue Fox Cafe is a funky downtown West Coast eclectic, serving fresh homemade style food to a loyal, local clientele for over 20 years.
Perennial favourites include eggs benedict, (10 different types), reportedly the best in the city, Moroccan chicken quesadillas, giant homemade veggie burgers and beef burgers!! Emphasis is placed on fresh local products. Coffee is organic. Breakfast is served all day with great music, good value and good cheer!!

Reservations (and interventions!!) are welcome Monday through Friday for lunch at 12 & 1pm.
AM reservations are taken for parties of 6 or more Monday through Friday.

The Early Bird Breakfast Special
2 local eggs, seasoned pan fried potatoes, hot buttered toast and house made fresh fruit jam- $5.95
Add bacon or 2 locally made pure pork sausages-$1.00

We had a delicious lunch here! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted amazing and we left feeling completely full and satisfied. The coffee was also really good, and the potatoes and bread were especially delicious. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
Food is simply amazing. Usually come to brunch places with just ok expectations, but Blue Fox changed our brunch game. Love their egg bennies’ hollandaise sauce, not that sour but tasty and umami. the chicken pesto sandwich is lovely, accompanied with a good bite of portobello mushrooms
We had one day in Victoria and this was my list to check out and I'm so glad we got to!nnThe host was very helpful assisting with a table for my mom who is in a wheelchair.nnOur food was hands down some of the best brunch I've ever had. My step dad said it was THE best he's ever had! Amazing quality ingredients and made with love. The portions are really generous for the price and quality they offer.nnThe service was impeccable from everyone, and our server was especially attentive. Blue Fox Cafe is such a cozy and charming place with incredible food!
Blue Fox has that timeless brunch‑spot energy that Victoria locals know well, and the ever‑present line out front is practically part of its charm. Even with roughly a dozen people ahead of us, the lineup moved at a steady pace, and the wait felt more like a warm‑up for what was coming. Once seated, it was clear why people don’t mind queueing.nnBreakfast comes out fast and flawlessly consistent, the kind of efficiency that only happens when a restaurant has been dialed in for years. They’re a well‑oiled machine from the kitchen to the front of house. Coffee and water never dipped below half full thanks to attentive servers, runners, and bus staff who all seem to operate with the same friendly rhythm.nnThe only small surprise was that multigrain toast was the sole bread option, but it didn’t take anything away from the experience. The food still hit the mark, and the service carried the meal the rest of the way.nnNever disappointed, always satisfied, and absolutely willing to line up again.
Excellent food! I have to wait in line for about 20-25 mins to get a table for myself. My order came in a flash! Lightning speed service! However, some of the servers were not on par with the experience which is understandable since they’re busy when I went to dine. The awesome omelette “Bon Jambon et Fromage” really did justice with its name and the maple latte was incredible! Definitely my favorite breakfast cafe now!
