Story

The Blue Fox Cafe is a funky downtown West Coast eclectic, serving fresh homemade style food to a loyal, local clientele for over 20 years.
Perennial favourites include eggs benedict, (10 different types), reportedly the best in the city, Moroccan chicken quesadillas, giant homemade veggie burgers and beef burgers!! Emphasis is placed on fresh local products. Coffee is organic. Breakfast is served all day with great music, good value and good cheer!!

Reservations (and interventions!!) are welcome Monday through Friday for lunch at 12 & 1pm.
AM reservations are taken for parties of 6 or more Monday through Friday.
Weekends, Survival of the Fittest!!

The Early Bird Breakfast Special
2 local eggs, seasoned pan fried potatoes, hot buttered toast and house made fresh fruit jam- $5.95
Add bacon or 2 locally made pure pork sausages-$1.00
Served Monday through Friday 7:30am to 10:00am (Don't be late, it's a very important date!)

This whimsical place make the best breakfast in town especially for the eggs Benedict if has the feeling that you are in a magic place!! Lovely decorated, friendly staff and an amazing food with a Latino touch. This popular spot is for the ones, we like to have a well-served breakfast!! So you better wake up early and hungry! In otherwise it worth the wait.

Great place to be! Varied menu. Good service! First come first served....but the wait is worth it! EXCELLENT food. It's been 5 years between visits and it is still an amazing place to eat! Wish we lived here!

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE THAT'S WORTH THE LONG WAIT. I have stood outside this restaurant happily for 2 hours on a busy Sunday morning just because i knew it was worth every last minute. They make the best eggs Benedict I have ever had and the bagel it comes is to die for. The bagels come from another local business which is awesome too. Supporting local in our city is key for success. All the employees here are great too, they make the whole experience fantastic. I will continue to come back here and tell all my friends to do so aswell.

Came in for a later afternoon lunch (about 2pm) and the place had a reasonable amount of people inside. It is seat yourself with a few little more tightly packed areas with tables but there was no issue there. My server was fantastic. Really quick and on the ball. And the food came out nice and fresh. Tasted absolutely delicious. Was not rushed to leave at all and it was a good time. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice well prepared lunch.

I can honestly say that this place serves one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I was on Victoria for 3 days and 2 of the 3 days I had breakfast here. The other place was John's place, which was also delicious but what brought me back here was 1.) I sat beside the serving window and over heard the servers talking about each plate " this needs more hollandaise", "this could be cooked more" and "give them more potatoes than that". The attention to detail is amazing. 2.) They have homemade jam and hot sauce. The jam is the best I have ever had and I ended up buying 3 jars of my own and had the place fill them. I don't know many other establishments that do that. The jam was strawberry vanilla. You have to give this place a try.
