Taco Justice Food Truck

I can be pretty picky about what qualifies as good food but I have to say this place has fantastic food. The flavour combinations are incredible. The portions are outrageous. No visit to Victoria is complete without a stop at Taco Justice. To make it even more memorable, the staff are exceptional. Cash only so be prepared and don't miss out on this dining experience😙😙

The semi-permanent location of the truck is highly visible but odd. It's usually in the parking lot of Wellburns grocery near the corner of Cook and Pandora. The food is really tasty and creative. The Green Monster is avocado based, the Nachos Libre has delicious deep fried potatoes and of course, no nachos. I love the food but I have to take it easy as it is deep fried food--not so good for my round tummy. The price is reasonable and there is usually a wait but it is well worth a visit.

It’s dead easy to make a really good vegan taco but this was sub par at best. Greens, a deep fried avocado, and salsa are a good start (the salsa was tasty) but far from stellar and it definitely did not make a balanced taco. I’d have thought that in Victoria we’d see some more effort to make delicious food for plant based folks. Offering actual corn tortillas would also be nice. Oh, and $7 is wicked high for a single taco with salsa, greens and avo.

Loved the burrito. Although the price tag of 15$ seems high, I was completely satisfied. I ordered the Brutus and the freshness of the ingredients were obvious. Everything was crunchy where it needed to be, spicy enough to keep me interested and garnished with a very unique sweet slaw. All in all one of the best burrito's I've ever had. Staff are casual and fun to talk too. Great experience, great food - maybe just a tad over priced - but still well worth it :)

Been going for years. BEST gourmet tacos in town! Generous portions. Everything on their menu is incredible. Friendly staff. Always accommodating to allergies if you ask (gluten & shellfish) but cooking in small truck kitchen and a shared flat top so eat at own risk. Portions: Full on a single taco but could eat more cause they taste so good. Quality: Fresh, balanced and Vibrant flavours. Satisfying combinations of textures. Consistent flavours over the years. Style: Asian fusion? is the best description but it's the only way I could describe their unique menu. Price: Right between $ and $$ but worth every penny. My judgement is based on having tried about 80% of the menu: Green Bastard: Deep Fried Avocado: Crunch yet smooth avocado, Brutus: Flavourful beef, Mr. Fuji's Intercontinental Chicken: Chicken, Belly 2 Belly: Pork belly, Slap to the Kisser: Seared Tuna & the Nachos Libres: Fries with fresh diced salsa and delicious light but flavourful sauce. ENJOY your first visit (cause you'll definitely go there again :)
