A local Victoria classic. Anyone who says otherwise is literally just a hater.nnIve been coming here on and off for 25 years and the food has only gotten better. The prices are very fair considering the amount of food you get even for a half order.nnThe free bread is also extremely tasty, like deadly good. Don't forget to ask for some balsamic and olive oil on the side.nnAn amazing dinner for 2 with a cocktail each and no dessert was under $80. Considering the quality of the food and portions, it felt like an extremely good deal. Great date spot or somewhere to bring friends.nnWe ordered 3 entrees among 3 people last visit and shared them. Each one was absolutely delicious.nnThanks for a great visit!

We had a really nice lunch at Pagliacci in downtown Victoria. It has that cozy, classic downtown restaurant feel, and even though we went during lunch hour, it was not too noisy or overwhelming. It was still easy to talk and enjoy the meal, which I really appreciated.nnThey started us off with complimentary focaccia, which was a lovely surprise. The bread was pretty nice, soft, tasty, and a good way to begin the meal. I also tried their house blend iced tea, and I liked that it had a subtle, pleasant scent without being too strong or too sweet. It felt refreshing and matched the meal well.nnFor my main, I ordered the Prawn Broker, which came with prawns, pasta, and a curry cream sauce. The sauce was rich and flavorful, but not too heavy, and the prawns worked really well with the curry cream. My friend ordered the pasta of the day, which was a mushroom shell pasta, and that was also very good. It had a comforting, earthy mushroom flavour and was nicely cooked.nnOverall, everything we tried was enjoyable. The food was good, the lunch atmosphere was comfortable, and the service felt relaxed and welcoming. It’s a nice spot in downtown Victoria if you want a satisfying pasta lunch without the place feeling too loud or rushed. I would be happy to come back and try more dishes next time.

Everything about this place was amazing and this was one of those rare meals I've been out to eat and I wished it could have lasted longer.nThere was live music which added to the atmosphere. We had our choice of inside or outside and we sat outside at dusk. We could still hear the live music and got the added benefit of the pretty lights they had strung from the buildings.nAs far as the food, I had trouble choosing because they had so many options I wanted to try. I loved what I got and the only Italian food that was better than this was my Italian grandmother's cooking but she will always win no matter how good anyone else tries.nFinally, I come to the service. I usually don't comment on the service in these posts but everyone was so friendly, helpful, and kind. They all genuinely cared about our experience and while I've had good service at other places, here they all went above and beyond so I feel they all deserve the recognition.

This place has my heart!!! Our favourite Italian restaurant. We’re from Vancouver and ensure we visit every time we’re in town. We’ve been here before to celebrate birthdays and most recently in the summer we brought our mom and the restaurant made it an amazing experience!! They held onto our cake for us, and gave her the most wonderful birthday song thanks especially to Cody!! We came to celebrate my birthday and of course Cody hooked it up again for us getting us an amazing table with a view of the band and to die for food! Truly a gem and a must try!!

I had the small “Sophia” dish which included a lemon cream sauce with crab and shelled baby shrimp on top of fettuccine. Perhaps one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Also, don’t let the “small” fool you—the portion size was just right for a pasta dinner, but if needed, a larger size is available. For dessert, I had an interesting but amazing flavour of ice cream: blood orange dragonfruit creamsicle which came with a delicious cookie. On top of all that, there was the outstanding bottomless focaccia bread that just kept on coming. The waiter and the overall service were also fantastic; drinks were consistently filled and more of that incredible bread was brought to the table whenever it ran out.nnI will definitely be back and looking forward to try other dishes!! Thank you for the wonderful experience.
