Good service and good looking solar shades, very happy with this purchase

We have a large window in our bedroom which has one operable window in the centre and a fixed window on each side. We went in to purchase shades that would block out the sun. We purchased the Serenity shade room darkening. The sales person suggested one shade however we opted to go with one shade per window so we could lift the centre shade while leaving the side shades down. We were told that this would be fine as there is only 1/4 0f an inch between the panels which would overlap with the window frame dividing the windows. When the shades were installed I couldn't believe how much light was coming in through the gap between the shades. Instead of 1/4 of an inch gap between the panels there was a gap of 1 tp 1 1/2 inches and the shade was installed 2 1/2 inches from the window instead of as close as possible. We called the store on a Monday and asked if they could send the installer back to move the shades as close as possible to the window. We received a call that same day from the installer and he promised to return that week to move the shades. We waited all week and he never called. We then went in to the store on Saturday to advise what was going on and they called the installer and left him a voice mail to call the store. She said she would wait for the installer to call her and she would ask him to call us. She also assured us that she would look into the matter. No one called us so we called back the following Tuesday and the sales clerk told us that the installer was in the store and he would be calling us shortly. We didn't receive a phone call so we called the store on Wednesday and the sales clerk said she was going to call the installer and have him call us. As you can see we were very patient, However by 2:00 pm we hadn't heard from the store or the installer so I called the store and asked to speak to our sales clerk who was busy and the store manager was on break. I then went on to express my frustration and dissatisfaction to the clerk and told him that I would drive down to the store to talk to the manager. I was almost at the store when the installer called me and he promised to come to correct the installation at 5:00 the same day. I continued on to the store and when I arrived I met with the sales manager and our sales clerk. As I was expressing my dissatisfaction the sales manager excused herself and went to serve a customer and left me talking to the sales clerk The whole experience was terrible and frustrating. We won't be buying from this store again. The sales clerk was not knowledgeable about the product she was selling and the manager was rude and disrespectfull

Just about the best service I've ever received with any company in Ottawa. Installer spent ages trying to solve my initial problem, from a previous tenant. It wasn't possible so off I went to the store. Service was kind, quick, and very informed. I love meeting people who very obviously love their jobs!

Excellent service! We're very happy with our blinds! Our sales person was very helpful and friendly. She always recongnized me when I visited the store. After one year, some of the cords shrunk a bit because of the sun. Brought them back Friday afternoon and they were fixed by Sunday.

I found that the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to give me some great suggestions when I explained what I needed. The blinds were ready very quickly and look great.
