Very unhelpful staff.

Came from work with my backpack on. However they didn't want me shopping with it on. They had some crappy excuse of my fairly small bag hitting others when I turn. 

I also wanted to see a wig, asked staff to take it out from the package to I could see it. They said customers are not allowed to try them on.

Asked if they could try it on a mannequin instead but they insisted that would damage the hair. There was also no sample that I could see either.

Will not be returning ever.

Hours online say open till 6 on Sunday, rushes from work only to find they close at 5:(

I've been a customer of PM before they even moved to Kanata Centrum so a long time ! Typically friendly efficient and helpful . This last visit this week for my youngest birthday really hit home how they're drilling the ball.  Maybe trying to diversify into Halloween is at cost of party supplies suffering . Only think I can think of .  Store is minimal stock in party themes and only selective few themes available .  All the mylar balloon displays have been removed and seems like only 1/4 of the what the offered before were available .  Now let's move to latex balloons . A common staple in this type of business ! Most popular. being  age number balloons. There was only ONE in entire bin of numbers in girl colours ( pinks purples etc) 
The store seems like a 1980's setup very cheesy .
I had what balloons I could find inflated .And for FIRST time in 20 years they sagged down to floor by morning not even 24 hours of enjoyment . ( No temperature extremes or holes ) I beleive the woman did not use the standard 'glue' prior to filling with helium or the THEY WOULD have lasted . Overall very very letdown and think this store is not going to be around within a couple years at the way they are not progressing and losing their focus on what made them popular . Becuase of their minimal selections above had to order all my child's theme online and take them into party mart just for the helium service now . Sad. They use to be my GO-TO place :(
