I got weekends 😭 This place sucks everyone so busy they don't care about you and good...
I'm disgusted with greedy landlords who overcharge people...Bethlehem Housing and Support Services contacted me today about an apt for rent. I was on their list for housing from years ago. They say on the website Bethlehem Housing and Support Services is a multi-service organization serving the diversified needs of Niagara residents by offering support for individual growth through housing and other focused services. Our vision is to provide stable affordable housing and support services to contribute to a vibrant, caring and inclusive Niagara where everyone has a home. Yet according to the email they sent me, the 1 bedroom apt is$879 per month plus tenants pay their own hydro. Parking is an additional monthly fee and is arranged through ONPark which gives Bethlehem Housing tenants a lowered cost of $50 monthly. How is charging low income people $879 plus hydro providing affordable housing for anyone? People on odsp get $1169 per month for rent, bills, food everything...so how can a supposed non profit organization like Bethlehem Housing who claim to want to help people get away with this kind of ridiculous rent? It's landlords like them that are perpetuating the homeless population. Cause no one can afford their high rent It makes me even more grateful to my Viatnemese landlord/Owner of the house who thankfully truly is helping us low income people. He only charges $570 plus hydro for my 1 bedroom apt. I hope there's a special place in hell for companies like Bethlehem Housing...
Great place to live after 3.5 year wait but this is a corporation like any other. The inclusion policy, which is on the walls and the website, is bogus and not adhered to in spite of formal written complaints about blatant witnessed discrimination against disabled persons. Management is completely oblivious and more concerned about bbq rules and politics as usual.
This is not a shelter but when they’re able to accept clients they really come through for they’re clients. Blessed I got to meet the staff who helped me in every situation.
