The breakfast and helpful staff saved this stay for us. We got in late after a stressful day on the road. After a friendly interaction with the check-in staff, we got into our room. We discovered the ceiling tiles above the door were sagging, one was missing, and one tile was out of place. Feeling a little unnerved by this potential privacy concern, we requested a new room. The friendly staff were understanding and we were given new room keys. Once we opened the door to our second room, the sickeningly pungent smell of vomit became very noticeable. We didn’t physically see any vomit, as I assume the room was cleaned earlier in the day, but without opening the windows or running the AC, the smell couldn’t escape; making the smell concentrated and worse by the time we got there. We went back to the desk and the very understanding staff gave us keys to our third room of the evening. Thankfully the issues with our third room were minor. The bathtub and sink drains must have been installed incorrectly as I had to troubleshoot them just to get them to drain water at a slow rate. Aside from that, our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have seen in a long time, lots of hot/cold food and beverage options. Others planning to stay at this location may not have the same experience as we did, but I wanted to post our experience for awareness. Thank you again to the staff for the assistance.
Overall, an average experiencenNice staff, decent breakfast, bed was fine but could have more pillows for size. While the daily cleaning was fine, the carpet could use a deep cleaning. The price is high for the experience, but all the choices seemed high in that area.
Kinda dated but it had been refurbished.nWe will probably have an ok breakfast only 6-9 am. Looks average.nI don’t think they’re booked up so good choice of parking spots.nWe got here around 6pm.nI just wish they would have cleaned the carpet more often. It was quite gross. No bed bugs. I always check with my UV flashlight. We’re really tired so we’re not gonna raise a stink.nOverall below average.
Elevator floors were filthy and sticky. Front desk person was not much of a 'people' person. When we arrived at our room, I was a little nervous because the latch for the door was in the door, making it open for anyone who came by. I didn't really want to go in for fear that someone might be in the room. Very weird. The room was clean, but the sheets and mattress pad were not well fitted and kept coming undone. Location was very convenient for the drive over the Beartooth Highway and back. Maybe they are just short staffed like the rest of the country. . .
Booked a room for the night a few hours before arriving during a road trip bc they said “pet friendly” on their website. Unfortunately, they told me at check in they’re pet friendly but no cats so you can’t stay and you don’t get a refund bc you didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance. What a bullshit experience, only more reason to have booked air bnbs instead.
